Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these gloves I ordered these based on other reviews, and I have to say, they're everything that they're billed to be. They're great for working and playing in chilly to cold weather, wet or dry. These can replace a lot of other pairs of gloves - perfect for so many situations.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Last model was better First off it's not a work glove. The previous model was a good work glove but this model I would consider to be more of a light ski glove with a leather palm. The major issue that down grades it from a work glove is the fleece on the inside of the glove isn't attached to the leather palm. This makes for blisters and an unsure feel when trying to grip anything. I would not recommend them if you plan on using rope, shovels or anything you have to grip. Good for hiking, snowshoeing and general out door use. Very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised Ordered these online based on the strong reviews without having the chance to actually see them in person. They are excellent. Soft, high quality leather on the palms, soft internal lining, and windproof material over back of the hand. They are my go to for quick errands or chores out of the house. Additionally, l I ride my bike to to work daily during winter here in Michigan and I have been using these whenever the temperature is above 25F and they have been perfect. Overall very versatile and high quality gloves. Just for sizing wise, I am 5 10" male, with average size hands and medium fit well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versitile I've had these gloves for a couple years, and they will likely last quite a few more. Initially I got them just to keep in the car, but they ended up being the go to for so many things. I work with a contractor part time and these things are tough and dexterous enough that I wear them almost exclusively. The leather is top notch, and the stretch and pre-curve makes intricate tasks doable without having to remove them. when it gets cooler I have a pair of tight power stretch gloves that i put on underneath. I highly recommend them and can guarantee they'll be your go-to as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended backcountry glove Took an older pair of Torsion gloves on a two day backpacking trip to Little Yosemite Valley 4.3 miles in from the Happy Isles Trail head. Needless to say I was a happy camper!!! For context, temps ranged from low 50's to high 20's. Weather was sunny day one and snowy and rainy day two. Base elevation was just over 4000ft and destination was 6100ft. The core ascent was 1900ft over 3.4 miles (to the top of Nevada Falls). The path is very steep and narrow at many locations and included switchbacks carved into solid granite. My gear & supplies weighed in just over 40lbs Another side note, I prefer using a walking stick vs trekking poles so I always have one hand free. Needless say the gloves worked flawlessly. Toward the end of the trip I was very wet but never cold and I was extremely confident with my grip. For those of you who walked up and down the Mist trail at Yosemite, you know what I mean. Now try that hike with 40lbs of gear in snow and rain and you'll genuinely appreciate a glove like this. Light weight, very durable, warm to freezing temps and amazing grip. Thanks Hard Mountain for making a great glove!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work with a grip These are good for work outside where strong gloves are needed but so is a soft touch. Can grip tools and operate electronics that need buttons pushed or switches thrown. All in all, look forward to many years of use out of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snug and warm. Normally when I'm climbing in the Alpine world, I have 3-4 different pairs of gloves with me. (Depending on conditions of course) These are the ones I wear when the wind picks up or I'm using my axes. First off, they are very comfortable. The materials used inside and out are spectacular. Although, if your hands are cold, and your gloves are coming out of your bag cold, it might be an uncomfortable minute to warm them up. But that's to be expected Second, these puppies are durable. I snag them on stupid stuff and grab lots of rock/boulders on the way up, with minimal, to no signs of wear. The leather used on palm seems pretty resilient as well. Which is clearly a good thing. So far, in my endeavors, these gloves have taken my abuse and liked it. Now, they're not waterproof, so take that into consideration if you're going to be slushin around in spring. Doesn't really phase me though. It takes a while to soak them through. Sizing. When ordering online finding the right size is tricky. So, if you're unable to find them locally, take a short trip up to your local Orange Home improvement store, find the glove section, and locate a pair of (black, gray and yellow) General Purpose gloves by FG, they're sizing is almost identical. Medium = Medium. I hate to write all of that in the review, but if you're gonna sink money into these Torsion gloves like I did, I'm sure you want them to fit too. Overall, I absolutely love these! Get them, no disappointments.
