Ozonic™ 65 OutDry® Waterproof Backpack is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfort and joy As soon as I found this bag I knew I was set. The Waterproof capability alone was a huge selling point (also a fear inducer) and so was the bags stability structure with pivoting waist belt. Once I got my bag I fell in love. the construction of the waterproof material is amazing, where it resembles that of three layer hard shell jackets it is much more flexible and less noisy. It also has a stronger feel without the feeling of the layers moving between your fingers every time you touch it. So Far on my winter training hikes everything has stayed dry as a bone and is easy to clean off splashed on mud. this bag is extremely comfortable. in my recent search for a new bag I tried out many different ones before ordering this one online. I was nervous since I hadn't been able to test it out. But from that first day and first hike it has been nothing but comfortable. it sits well with a very secure load with almost no shifting. no hot spots on the belts either. it is easy to adjust the loads center of gravity and adjust on the fly. so far this has been great and I am looking forward to beating this bag up on my 2017 thru hike of the Appalachian trail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pack.. Working outside, and often in the rain, this pack passed the test. It IS waterproof and yes - comfortable. It holds so much - volume & weight! The removable lid is a great feature that I use often, when the pack is only 3/4 full and fully cinched down. I like the trimmed-down features - just whats important, not a lot of weighty zippers and clips. Minus 1 star for 2 reasons, 1) No dedicated bladder pocket 2) Side mesh pocket easily tears

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Backpack but is it Worth the Price? I bought this bag because it is made out of nylon and is waterproof. I was hesitant due to the fact I could purchase an Osprey for less price in the same size (65L) or larger. I decided to go with MH cause my friend was bragging to me about how great their products are I'm 5'8 160lbs and got a size S/M First off- There is NO designated place for a water bladder. I googled for 20 min to see where people are placing their water bladder and couldn't find anything. I even called up MH and they couldn't tell me where people place their water bladder. I decided to put it in the front pocket of the bag, but that makes my bag heavy towards the front and not placing the weight towards my back. It also makes the front pocket useless to anything else. You could also cut a hole in the bag for the spout of the bladder to go through if you wanted to put it on the inside the bag, but I decided against it. Next- after 3 miles into my 10-mile introduction to the product hike, I noticed that one of the side buckles broke. I called up MH and they shipped me out a new one the next day. That was great customer service, but hopefully as time progresses I do not have more buckles break. Next, the metal internal frame kept poking my lower back (iliac crest) where the frame ends at the bottom and starts to curve back up. For some reason the material that is sewn together in that spot to hold the frame kept rubbing my skin raw. Maybe that's a problem that I have cause of my body build and it being a new bag??? I read someone else have this same problem. Last, a 0-degree bag will not fit inside the Ozonic when you have your tent, pillow, clothes, food, cookware and sleeping pad already inside. I attached mine to the outside with carabiners. I'm excited to use this bag in the rain/snow and really get my money's worth out of it. I recommend this bag; I just don't recommend this bag at its full price. I think for $270 it’s overpriced even for being waterproof due to the complaints listed above.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Foothills Trail Overall a good pack. Pretty basic, no extra bells and whistles to get in the way or break. Quality construction and durable. I spent 5 days in constant rain thru hiking the foothills trail in SC with no rain cover for this pack. Very minor moisture penetrated the top pouch. Only downside is that even though the pack is waterproof, eventually the fabric does saturate and retain minimal moisture. With a pack cover this pack is water tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This was my first pack this large and was used to travel throughout Nepal. I lived out of this pack for about three months and had no issues with it whatsoever! It is comfortable, durable, and was the perfect size. We were in Nepal on a mission trip and specifically used these packs to carry Bibles, a projector, a computer, and other ministry materials to the villages. The outdry technology allowed us not to worry about weather as we were traveling. Its a wonderful pack!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybe I did something wrong . . . Got this pack to finally do some backpacking. My wife did about 180 miles with here direttissima 50 on the PCT this summer, and liked the pack so I grabbed this one since it seemed to be more well suited to backpacking (hers is more alpine oriented). First: Why don't manufacturers feel the need to explain a pack's features? Do they assume nobody is buying their first pack ever? Well, they're wrong. The pack itself fit me well. We did 40+ miles over 3 days w/ a lot of ascending / descending (we hiked around Mt. Hood in Oregon). There is ample storage for what we were doing, but some if it is less practical than I'd like. For instance the exterior side pockets are unreachable when the pack is on. So, you can't reach your water bottle or snacks or map or anything w/o taking the pack off (yes, the pack has a hydration sleeve, but I like to carry extra water). Also, it rained on us the 2nd day, and the stuff in the "cap" got wet. See, I didn't know intuitively that I needed to reverse the cap for ultimate weather protection, because nobody told me - I guess being a rookie has its costs (a friend w/ the same pack told me about flipping it over when I got home). I'd still buy the pack again because everything else stayed bone dry, and I liked not having worry about breaking out a rain cover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent pack I picked up on sale and could have returned for a much more expensive model from a competitor which wasn't waterproof. Glad I did not. After a summer of hiking including snowstorms, climbing and scree runs the pack is still in excellent shape. It fit well and adjustment was easy. I am 5'10 and 170 on a good day. I should add it seems like a light pack for the features size and waterproof features. Keep in mind that a none waterproof pack needs a cover added for a comparable weight value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pack I've been waiting for This pack is great! It has one of the best features out there, its waterproof without a pack cover. The adjustability of the pack is also very nice, it has many different ways to adjust the pack according to how much gear you are packing. All I need now is a smaller one similar for a day pack. A+

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good pack only a couple problems This pack definitely performs well and does what is demanded of it however I encountered a couple minor problems. 1) The hip belts rubbed my iliac crest to the point where there was a spot of raw skin however it may just be the pack breaking in. 2) I understand it may be hard to do considering the waterproof aspect and all but I would really like it if it had a separate sleeping bag compartment. Overall I really am happy with this bag and it is super light for its size and substance.
