Truckee™ 35 4.3 5 4 4
Huge! This backpack is real big. Yesterday I put a large book, my gloves, hat, balaclava, helmet, jacket, board tool, small first aid kit, and other assorted items and they all fit no problem. I use it snowboarding sometimes when I feel like the conditions are gonna change during the day because it can hold a sweatshirt and some extra pants and a long sleve shirt without bulking up at all. The chest and hip straps work great at keeping the pack close to your body so I can still pull my spins. Likewise with the compression straps on the sides. The two front pockets are more than enough to hold your misc items such as skate tool, first aid kit, phone, keys, wallet, and much more. I have not had a chance to use the skateboard straps but I am excited to go longboarding with this pack. I am very pleased.PS The green one is the one I have and it looks super tight. Pricy Your products are mediocre at best. Not worth the price you pay. If I were a gov't employee and able to use your discount for gov't employees it would be worth it. March 9, 2013
Truckee-35/Just the right capability Capacity is easily large enough to fit all items needed for a 3-season ultra-light 3-day camping trip. Streamline enough for easy movement in thick under brush areas. Excellent durability. Multiple gear areas facilitate ease of item access in low-visibility conditions. Great flexibility for use as a field pack, or carry-on air-travel luggage. January 2, 2013
Great pack For a day hike, or for regular day-to-day use, the Truckee 35 is great. Large enough to fit gear for an overnight camping trip (sleeping bag attaches to exterior straps), or for around town, fits many books, computer, ample water, food... Pretty much whatever you'd need. Also, there are many compartments for keeping gear neatly organized. Nice firm but maleable frame keeps pack comfortable without being too bulky. Also, the water bottle pockets are deep enough to where you're not worried about your bottle slipping out at the next step. 32 oz bottles fit perfectly in them. I got the black on black, because I don't enjoy standing out like a sore thumb. Only suggestion I might have is to come out with some more reasonable (muted) colors. Ok, I know it's the style... Styles change. I expect this bag will still be going strong when they have. September 14, 2012
