This jacket is not only light, but it is so warm that at times when wearing it in 15 degree weather I have to unzip it to cool off. ( and I am just walking) .I took a Small and I am 5'4" 125lbs - fits perfect. Love the jacket. Definitely my go to jacket for staying warm.

I'm so glad I treated myself to this jacket as a Christmas present from me to me! I just spent a few days in the Adirondack Mts (NY State) backcountry, and during the day got by with only a merino wool t-shirt and fleece underneath the phantom down jacket. It also layers well under a goretex shell. It compresses into its own pocket nicely and would make a comfy pillow at that size. My only issue with the jacket is that I bought this model (after looking at dozens of different brands) because it has an interior water bottle pocket. Unfortunately the water bottle sits in the wrong place if you are carrying a full pack. It's better and more comfortable with just a day pack, but it still doesn't seem exactly "right". This is a feature that needs to be improved. Otherwise, I LOVE the jacket and have already recommended it to others.

If you are a women that is always cold, this jacket is the one for you. It's super warm, packs small, true to size, and it's lightweight. I just got it before a fly fishing trip in freezing cold, windy Wyoming, and wore it 24/7. Literally! Now I wear it every day to work, so it's great no matter what you are doing.
I am a good solid Medium on all women's clothing but ordered a Large in fear that it would be too short (I'm 5' 11") or slim and I wouldn't be able to layer. A Large is a bit big, but is plenty long enough, allows for layering, and doesn't look too big.
I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone, and I have high expectations for outdoor gear. Great product!
