Rated 5 out of 5 by great for cold weather soft, stretchy and warm January 12, 2017
Rated 3 out of 5 by Soft and cozy Went one size smaller like all the reviews said to do. Waist fits nicely, but the legs are very very tight. I'm 5'7" , 135 lbs with an athletic build, and not used to skin tight legs. Nice and cozy around the house, but not sure if I'll wear them out in public. January 5, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sweet Winter wear I own a couple of pairs of Winter Wander pants (previous MH model which are no longer available) These are the only pants I have worn the last 3 winters and they have been bullet proof. (Still in fine shape) I wear these with thin long underwear. These new Yumalino pants appear to be even nicer. They have a super soft fleece liner, so no need for the long underwear unless it is really Quebec in Febuary cold. The fit is good, they look nice and because of the stretch they are supremely comfortable. I prefer the colour of these Yumalino pants to the military Green Winter Wander pants. My only negative is that the cargo pocket on the leg is quite a bit smaller with a dicreet flap than my previous pants. It will hold a cell phone though, so will be used every day. Great pants for the money. January 4, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great outdoor pant for winter. I've had a pair of the black Yumalinos for over a year now and liked them so much for winter activities that I recently bought a pair of the shark colour. I've used them for downhill and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, trail running, and cool weather hikes. I appreciate the light weight and full range of movement they offer. Teamed up with a base layer keeps me comfortable into the -15C range easily. They also make dealing with windy conditions easier. While they do offer water resistance they're not water proof. As far as fit I'm typically a 34 waist- the 32 Yumalino is a very comfortable fit (34 felt 'baggy') and my wife appreciates the way they fit me :) January 1, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Winter chill nirvana No clue about technical performance, however in the damp hellish chill of the Pacific Northwest winter, these pants are pure awesome. Wearing as a daily pant. December 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Winter Pants Ever! These pants are the most comfortable pants ever! They feel like you are wearing pajama pants even though you look amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about these pants. I now own one of each color and I think they are going to help me make it through the Minnesota winter - and fall/spring cold spells. If you are inside doing activities (like cleaning) you can get hot, but casual shopping or other things you are fine. The outer material also helps to shed water so they don't get super wet and nasty walking through the snow and slush. Buy a pair and you won't regret it. They are generously sized. I'm a ladies size 20 (with hips) wearing a Men's 40/30 and they fit great. They have a little bit of stretch to them as well. They are far superior in comfort and warmth to any flannel lined khaki I have ever owned. I've told everyone I know to buy a pair. December 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable & Functional Just received my pants today. Tried them on for the first time and I have to admit they feel amazing ! As far as the size/fit, like other reviews state they run a little big. I'm 6'3 240 and normally I wear 38-34. I took the advice of other reviewers and dropped down a size to 36" waist. They fit perfectly although if you like your hiking pants a little shorter in length you may want to order a shorter length than usual. The material seems to be very good quality. The fleece lining is thick which should feel great for those winter hikes. Currently it's 38* outside which is perfect weather for these pants. I look forward to hitting the trails with these here soon. December 12, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Finding the right fit The only problem is finding the right fit. The 36 were snug not overly tight and the 38 were loose but I had room in my thighs. I am 6ft 245 with 12% body fat for reference. I have an athletic fit in the thigh. I will have to wear a belt with the 38. The 34 length is long; not a bad thing with shoes/boots but if walking around the house definitely long over the heel; when sitting down right length though. I am going to try the 36/32 length and see if that works. I can always use the 38/34 when really cold with a pair of Nike hyper warm training tights underneath. I do have room for that with the 38. But if I am walking around the house with no belt the length of the pant is under my heels and the pant itself will slip off my hips. Mountain Hardwear does not include a pre-paid shipping label so you do have to pay for the return yourself which is why I gave it 4 stars. When trying to find the right fit; this is an extra cost the customer should not have to pay. The pant itself-outstanding comfort, warmth, stretch, just trying to get the right fit!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Everyday Pant For cooler Weather I use the Yumalini pant when I walk my dog in the fall and winter and they are fantastic. Super warm and comfortable. The stretch material makes it a great everyday pant. December 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pants That Feel Like Sweats! These are a wonderfully soft fleece lined pant with a stretchy soft shell. The pockets are warm and feel great. After searching and finally finding these I had to get 2 pairs. They are both my favorite pants for around the house and for outdoors. So happy! December 2, 2016
