I'm sure they'll fix problems in the next revision of this product The previous version of this product was PERFECT. It had a single interior key pocket and a single right-side rear pocket that closed with just the right amount of Velcro, just in exactly the right place. But, most of all, the waist band was sewed through so it didn't roll. Also the material for the inner short liner was softer and I think a tad thicker or heavier than this version, so it stayed in place. This version: (1) the waistband isn't sewn through so it rolls to the outside. (2) the rear pocket zipper has a hard plastic pull tab that flops around (It stabbed me in yoga class when I was doing bridge and returned my lower back to my mat.) (3) The Inner Short Liner is a different material (or shape or thickness or something) than the previous perfect version so it rides up a bit. I have to say that I live my older mountain hardware shorts (unfortunately I only bought two pair), so I am looking forward anxiously to the next revision of this product. May 26, 2014
Great short, not perfect These shorts have great features! The zip pocket on the back is a must for my key, but also has a key pocket on the inside, set slightly off center. I normally don't like that as it will rub against my leg when running, but this one seemed okay. The liner is the most comfortable one I've ever worn. Immediately upon receipt, I put them on for a 6 mile trail run. Awesome, super comfy shorts except for one major flaw: the liner comes up and covers the waistband. That's a great idea, but it is only sewn on the top of the band and drapes down from there. I found that when I was running down hill, the short slid up and down where the liner went over the waistband. Felt like my shorts were going to fall off, but they didn't. Simple fix would be to also sew along the bottom of the waistband as well and these shorts would be perfect. May 23, 2014
Great shorts These shorts are awesome. I did a short run to test them out before wearing them during a 50 mile race. I like the boxer brief liner. I didn't have the chafing issues I usually experience on longer runs. I was able to carry my storm shell, gloves and 4 gels without much movement. March 10, 2014
