Best Bag I've Owned I used to say this was the single best piece of equipment I own, then I bought a Stretch Plasmic Jacket, which I wear every day in Portland and absolutely love..but back to this marvel. I bought this two years ago when it was State Orange and Black (Go Beaves) and it was a few ounces heaver than this, but in saying that, it's the lightest sleeping bag I've ever touched, so I don't know how Mountain Hardware made this newer version even lighter. My hat is off to the geniuses in the lab coats. This bag is my 3/4+ sleeper - Spring, Summer, Fall, and whenever I'm couch surfing in the Winter on ski trips. It packs down to the size of your two fists together and you will never feel it's weight. Buy this bag and never look back. You might get a tad chilly on a desert night, but the packable difference will leave you room for a sleeping layer. I will own this bag for life.My only regret is not getting the Long version so I can sprawl out a bit, but it's not like I need to keep anything warm by my feet (like a winter bag), so there really is no regret.
