Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Great, light jacket. Great style. Pockets would be nice, but I still recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shacket Review Received my shacket and found the fit right on the money. I would recommend that a newer design update include at a minimum an inside pocket for either a small wallet or cell phone. Other than the external chest pockets there are none. I love that its sheds rain, very easy on and off and great for those 50-65 degree days and packs very small for hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I bought both the shark and black colors. It is the most versatile article of clothing I have ever owned. I don't understand the complaints about the pockets. Looking at it as a whole, it has front shirt breast pockets and the article is cut as a shirt. Therefore this is clearly an insulated shirt, not a jacket (although I still call it my shacket because the word shacket is just plain cool). Adding hand pockets would make it simply a jacket (and it would just look silly with shirt style breast pockets AND hand pockets). The pocket configuration is perfect for what it is. If you want hand pockets, buy a jacket. Phone goes in a breast pocket and the snap keeps it there if I bend/lean over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get one before they're gone! This is my best purchase of the last two years. I wear my Shacket nearly everyday here in the Bay Area. It's the perfect weight to replace my collection of sweatshirts and hoodies with the added bonuses of better wind protection, warmer in rain, wind, or just stepping out into the snow to grab more firewood, and more stylish. It's not a jacket but it is the perfect weight for milder weather or in between seasons. If this thing isn't on me then it's with me in my bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs smaller than Microchill Shacket I ordered a Microchill Shacket in XL and it was way too big, so I gave it to my father and ordered a L for myself. The Microchill L fit me perfectly in L. So, I figured the Trekkin Insulated Shacket would fit similarly, and I order a L. I was wrong. The Trekkin Insulated Shacket was way too small in the Large, and I will have to return it for an XL. Frustrating....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rad Jacket, but more pockets would've been nice Lightweight, waterproof, wind-resistant, well-insulated, great fabric, only thing I would've added to the jacket were an inside pocket & two pockets for your hands...Other than that it serves its purpose well. Cheers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5½ Stars! I really like this…. shirt…er…jacket...Shacket! This is absolutely perfect for Seattle weather. Button it up and it’s very warm, wear it open and it’s just right for that 50° to 60° temperature range of which we see so much here. It sheds the mist and drizzle enough to keep you dry, although I haven’t worn it in any kind of steady rain yet. It’s very lightweight so it packs easily- just stuff it in your pack if you don’t need it. It’s now my springtime going-to-work jacket. SIZING: The sizing seems right; you just have to decide how you want it to fit and buy the size according to that. Since I bought it more as a light jacket I went with a Large. I’m 5’8” medium build and the fit is perfect as a jacket and maybe a little big as a shirt. The length is great if you’re carrying a concealed pistol although its light weight might cause it to blow open and expose your sidearm- if that worries you. I found the sleeves a little long but cuffed them back to a perfect fit. I won’t complain about the lack of pockets. Due to its very light weight I don’t think it would look right if you had your hands stuffed down in slash pocket- it would just stretch it tight around your neck. A cellphone in one of the top pockets can distort the fit a little because it’s so light. It is what it is, a shacket; so if you want a jacket with slash pockets for your hands, buy a jacket with slash pockets for your hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a shirt not a jacket This is my second shacket. First one vanished, stolen, I suspect. Hope thief enjoys the extra insulation, wind and rain resistance and can get over lack of hand warming and inside pockets. It is a hybrid after all that combines the best features of a cool season jacket and shirt... can tuck it or not..
