Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gloves in cold, dry conditions. Palms get wet in wet/snowy conditions. Wore these brand new on a 2 day Spring skiing trip. Very lightweight and comfortable gloves, nice and warm. Large sized gloves were a bit shorter than i imagined in the wrist, but worked well with my jackets velcroed sleeves. The room in the fingers felt great. Leather palm is very nice, gloves are protective. However, the palms held moisture for awhile on day 2 when it was snowing the whole day. Of course they dried quickly overnight. I would recommend these more for hiking on cold days or skiing in nice weather. It would be nice to fully waterproof these gloves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Run a little larger than previous version While I like this glove for its high quality, it is slightly larger than previous model. I just bought two pairs of Mountain Hardware glove and they both are larger than any of my gloves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected First off, I live in a cold part of Canada, and have Raynaud's disease, so nothing keeps my hands warm. It's just brutal from Nov to Apr for me. I have down mittens, and use chemical hand warmers in them and still my fingers are white after a run. For obvious reasons, I don't do any winter sports and have given up Alpine climbing. However, these gloves have been pretty warm for their bulk. I can run in them fine around 26 degrees, and they are fine up to about 15 minutes, then they get cold, and start stinging. But, they don't turn white! That's a surprise. So yes, I'm happy with these. I've spent a fortune on gloves because I need them all the time. I've used The North Face, Black Diamond, you name it, but these have been a huge surprise for me. I'll keep experimenting but so far they've been worth the money. I am small and always wear small, but went with a medium for the extra space in the fingers. It means they aren't as precise as I'd like, but if it keeps me warm, I'm happy. Now I have to go shovel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic What a wonderful pair of gloves. I primarily use them alone, although when it's frigid, they serve as a great shell over a liner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not worth the money used these gloves working construction outdoors, they did not keep my hands warm once the temperature was below 40, they also are not water resistant; did not hold up to the wear and tear of construction work
