Warm as a sweater. Comfy as a sweatshirt. I love this hoody. Really a great piece of gear, if you can call a hoody "gear". It has a looser, more relaxed fit, but seems true to size.The outside is a slightly coarse wool, like a traditional sweater, and the inside is really soft brushed wool and feels just like a sweatshirt. And it's wool, so you won't freeze if it gets wet.Not much else to say. December 19, 2012

Material is too much like a sweater I have Le Hoody Royale in black and I absolutely love it, but only wish there were more colors. So I got the Melbu Stripe Hoody hoping it'd be similar in feel and fit, but it's not even close. Unfortunately I'll be sending it back. The material feels thin and just like a regular sweater; I was hoping for something more robust and technical. The fit is WAY looser than the Hoody Royale, so it actually looks kind of dorky. I have a tall, lean athletic frame, so I generally like things to fit a little slimmer. This definitely does not. It's probably not the worst thing in the world, but MH needs to understand that "sweater" that you would wear to church and "hoody" don't really go together very well. If something is going to be a hoody, it should be thicker, more casual and technical, and have a little bit of skater/snowboarder/take-your-pick edge to it. The material of the Melbu hoody is just a little bit cheesy. November 9, 2012
