Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great hardshell I am 5'11" and weigh about 196 with a 35 sleeve length. I ordered this jacket in a size Large to use as the final layer in my Winter kit, to cover both my mid and insulating layers. It exceeds. I can easily wear my Winter kit, which is a Wicked Lite s/s tee, Desna Grid Fleece and Nilas jacket over it all. While yes it does stuff the Quasar jacket to almost max capacity, I am still able to move around remarkably well, all things considered. Imagine that this condition would only exist when I am in the most extreme of conditions outdoors and trying to get to my destination rather than being trapped outdoors in stormy conditions. The Quasar jacket will perform flawlessly I am sure. I am taking it to Ireland in November and Chamonix next Spring and will have an update to this review on in the field performance at that time. Rated 5 out of 5 by Business Professional This is a great shell! It's more on the side of 'Business Professional'. What I mean is that the shell has the look of a tailored jacket. It fits me tighter then more shells. Most shells I've tried on are so basic without any sexy stitching. I highly recommend this shell if you want a tailored look not a garbage bag look. The zippers are awesome, but most of all I'm very impressed with the overall stitching! It's a beautiful product! Highly recommend! September 30, 2013
