Rated 5 out of 5 by Great anorak Just received this jacket today. I purchased this garment specifically for using it when I go to Europe in the late Fall/early Winter of 2015 and for a return trip to Chamonix in the late Fall/early Winter of 2016 (or Spring of 2016) to hike. Fit: A little roomy, but does not affect the overall fit of the garment. I'm 5'11" and weigh about 195 lbs or warrant it as being described as anything other true to size. I know I'll be wearing this jacket in conditions where I'll need to be layering and I just tried it on with the kit I'll probably be taking and the fit when fully kitted up is just as you might expect it to be when you have all your layers on: Snug but not movement restricting. I had a wicking tee shirt on, layered under the MHW Desna Grid Jacket layered under a MHW Kelvinator jacket (both the Desna and Kelvinator were size Large). And I put on my Petzl Meteor helmet to check for helmet compatability and it worked beautifully. Some reviews have bashed this specific garment for lack of pockets. For me, that's not a deal breaker at all, especially when you consider if you're harnessed up (or in my case wearing your backpack), you can simply stash items in the garment and not have to worry about them falling out as the waist belt from either your harness or backpack will naturally keep the items from falling out from under the hem at the waist). The deep PU zipper at the neck is great also. I can see how this will enable me to quickly cool off when I heat up and it makes accessing the two interior stash pockets an easy task. Overall great garment and I recommend it. May 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm Cozy and Dry Awesome!!!! Awesome pullover a little small in the chest area but overall great jacket. Needs hand pockets. Nice dry warm pullover. Light but still keeps you cozy . September 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mountain machine Phenomenal jacket for anything mountains. XL could use a little more length as opposed to girth. But overall a perfect jacket. April 15, 2013
