Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by awesome jacket with cold hands The jacket is exactly what i wanted but it has no hand pockets. September 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Fleece With two reviews and one being very negative, I had to write my own review as I personally love this jacket. I wore this through the 2014 fall and winter season so far. I have a 37/38" chest, 32" waist and typically medium sized long arms - a tad over 34". Usually, I wear mediums in other brands - this in Small fits me perfectly all around - the arms are plenty long. The fleece fabric is thinner than some other jackets but it's very warm and tough. The softshell material is well positioned to provide garment and weather protection on the arms and shoulders. The collar is a perfect height and stands - I hate collars that slouch over. I got the black and it looks really sharp. The only thing I may change is make the chest pocket vertical providing easy one handed operation although it does fade nicely into the softshell seem in its horizontal layout. Not much else to say - looks good, fits well, tough and warm. September 11, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by A downgrade from the original Mountain Tech Jacket I loved my original Mountain tech jacket. It has been my favorite fleece / softshell jacket for 10 years. I wore it almost every day in Spring and Autumn. It was the only fleece / softshell available on the market with pit zips and reinforced shoulders and arms and a unique jacket (Great big pockets, ventilation etc). So it was time to change it, and as the jacket was finally available in Europe, I ordered it. I received this new "version" and full disappointement is what I feel. I was expecting an upgrade, and I was wrong. First of all, the pit zips making the Mountain tech jacket so unique disapeared, so forget about great ventilation when needed on this "new version". The reinforced parts are stronger than before #great# but noisy compared to previously ones so forget about approaching wildlife silently. The wrist part is not fully protected all around like before. The membrane went from AirShield Elite to AirShield Core, meaning a less efficient breathable membrane when the pit zips have already disapeared. So let's forget top breathability / ventilation. The pockets are great, but a bit too high, and with vertical opening now #annoying to opening#. So It's a bit of a mystery why this jacket is called Mountain Tech II Jacket... October 4, 2014
