Reviews

Men's Micro Thermostatic™ Hybrid Jacket is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really wanted to like it I'll start with the good: Compresses really small in its own pocket very nicely and the construction is on par with what I've come to expect from mtn hrdwr (very good). The biggest, and really only issue is that the sleeves have no insulation at all and the material is too thin for you to consider it a windbreaker. Maybe this is what makes it a "hybrid" jacket? The minimal insulation within the body of the jacket is just thick enough and extends mid bicep, but what's where it stops. So if you're going with an ultralight pack, how do you justify a piece that doesn't fit into a specific category? It's hard for me to imagine a scenario where I'd be super happy I had remembered to pack this piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Lightweight Jacket I've had this jacket for a couple weeks now, and the more time I have it the more uses I find for it! While it certainly doesn't replace a heavier insulating jacket, it is perfect as a warm outlayer to block the wind/ cold, even over just a long sleeve. It weighs nothing and packs down super small, which makes it perfect for those days when you think you might be just a bit cold. With the black color it looks nice enough to wear to the office, or around town, which is a huge plus for me.
