Men's Kelvinator™ Hooded Jacket is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from bare bones I was disappointed in the jacket for a number of reasons. I bought a Mt. Hardware Down jacket a few years earlier and loved it but I was sadly dissapointed and amazed how the quality dropped since then. The jacket is warm which is what I wanted but every thing else was stripped down from my last jacket. No zipper pocket on the outside chest area, No cargo pocket on the inside, no draw cord on the hood, closures on the sleeve trimmed down and don't keep jacket sleeves from falling, all zippers reduced in size and quality and the material itself is so thin, I am afraid to get near a branch for fear it will rip the jacket to shreds. And the price was no bargain either. Mt. hardware you can go much better then this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic sewn thru Your basic lightweight but thick puff jacket. Fits quite large. I got a medium although I often wear large. At 6'1" 165 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket This is a very nice jacket and priced right for the quality. I needed a jacket for casual outdoor activities in just below freezing temps and this one fits the bill. I stay reasonably warm in temps down to 20F and light winds for 30-60 min walks and light activity. I washed, dried, and fluffed the jacket after receipt and it was noticeably loftier, but not to puffy. At 5'10" and 200lbs it's a close fit in a large. I can easily fit a tee and light/med base layer, but not much more. If your a more fit build, normal sizing should work for you. Overall, I am very satisfied with this jacket for my use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly love it Feels nice and warm, good weight. No drawcord or snap on the hood seems like an oversight - walking into the wind I will get air blown around my head with the hood up and turning my head does not turn the hood so I have to turn my body. I will probably just add a snap or try to thread a drawcord through myself if possible. Other than that I am a big fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is great I love everything about this. The only thing that I would change is in the arms where I move the joint of my elbow alot all of the down has been pushed to the back thus leaving a cold spot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Deace Down Jacket This jacket is 60% Feathers and 40% Down. It'll keep you warm in 30 degree weather, I use the Soma Plasmic shell and this jacket, so it gets a little compressed and I notice 2 things from this: the temperature rating is less because the compression lowers the loft, and I can feel the feathers poking through the seams which isn't too bad, but it might annoy other people. It isn't officially windproof, but it does a pretty darn good job in 20 mph wind. I love the hood, it's like a balaclava. I'm glad they put the hem adjustments on this, I'm 5'7" at 120lbs so I'm a small guy. Overall it's a pretty good jacket, but I should have got a thinner, higher loft rating down jacket to put under my shell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from toasty warm While i haven't slept in a snow cave yet, i do find this jacket reeeally toasty and light. The water repellenacy seems to work well and the colour (blue) is fab. They say you can pack the jacket inside one pocket - i haven't been able to close the zipper yet - maybe next time - or i'll use a different technique. I do recommend it.
