Men's Kelvinator™ Down Jacket is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Nice Looking Jacket This jacket fits and feels wonderful. The Hoody version keeps your face warm in the colder winter climate. I live in Eastern Kansas and it got down twice this winter to 9 below F and 5 below with wind chills to minus 22 F. I was outside with this coat for 15 minutes at -20 F wind-chill before I started to feel cold in the arms. This coat works wonderfully for me with temps and or wind chills down to around 5-10 degrees F. for periods of an hour or longer outside. Below that you may need some extra insulation on your arms since the jacket is a mid weight you have your gives and takes. If for some reason I need to be outside for periods longer then one hour at temps below 5 degrees F I picked up a Marmot guides which is not nearly as comfortable to wear and doesn't look half as nice either but oh well. The Kelvinator is hands down my favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great down jacket for my Spring kit I think I have an earlier iteration of the Kelvinator from before the use of Q Shield down as I got it about 4 or 5 years ago. I wore in the Winter time in Dublin, Ireland and it kept me nice and comfy when the temps were in the 40's back in 2012. More recently I wore it in London this past Christmas and it did not keep me quite as warm as before, but I attribute that to me getting older and not being able to tolerate the cold as much as I used to be able when I was younger. It's got a nice comfortable fit, not too loose and you can easily layer under it and still have good range of motion. It's got a nice water repellant shell to it as well and packs down very nice in its stuff sack so it takes up precious little space in the pack or luggage. I now keep this as part of my Spring kit and not my Winter kit since I recently acquired the Nilas jacket. But this is great when paired with a Desna fleece piece under my Quasar Lite jacket for when the weather starts to turn nasty. For light warmth and a comfortable piece of it, I would very much recommend the Kelvinator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works Very warm jacket. Replaced my well-worn TNF Nuptse jacket. Not disappointed. This jacket is longer - which is nice but does interfere with my harness / belay device more than the shorter Nuptse. I use as my belay coat for ice climbing. Great jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I own lots of goose down jackets of this weight and style. The Kelvinator is THE BEST hands down. A very warm jacket that is feather light and compresses to a very small size. Since I fly a lot of the times I'm off to a location this is a big plus. This is a no-nonsense jacket that is built to do one thing, and do it well, protect you from the elements and keep you warm. There are no extra breast pockets, or inside pockets, or unnecessary pulls. The only fault that I can find with this item is that the front pockets are not that well insulated and you can feel a slight draft at the bottom of these pockets. If you are wearing gloves it is not an issue. Adjusting the bottom pull would probably help a little, but to be honest I haven't tried that. I really like the color. I got the shark/state orange combination, it is unique and my wife thinks it is cool. This is my first MHW jacket and I am sold. A little more expensive than the competition, but when I consider that my other cheaper jackets have a few flaws here and there, or don't quite fit right, or the sizing is too skimpy I don't mind paying extra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from men's Kelvinator Jacket Took the jacket up a 14er the other day and the comfort and weight was fantastic. Comfortable all day, only my legs were tired..LOL. My wife's jacket is great as well and the shape looks good on a womens body. I will continue to endorse your product. Thank you for everything..
