Nice Jacket... I was looking for a warm soft shell for daily winter wear. Unfortunately, this is not the jacket for that. It is very thin. It is a great windbreaker though!I decided to double up this jacket with my MH Bedlam fleece. Together they keep me toasty and allow me to move.The XL I got was a little bit big in the arm length. But that was OK... as I can wear a fleece under it. Once it warms up I can loose the fleece and the G50 will be perfect. January 15, 2013

Yes, size matters. As a man of large stature, sometimes it is difficult to find clothes that fit perfectly. I'm 6' 2", 240lbs, with a 52" chest, so I decided to go with the XXL. As far as fit goes, it is perfect in the chest and arm length, but feels a bit big around the mid-section... like it was designed for a beer belly. I'm not sure how many beer guts are really needing top of the line outdoor apparell, but if i ever decide to have one, I won't have to get a new jacket. As far as performance, this thing is bone dry. Haven't seen any wind or actual cold with it, but so far, so good. August 22, 2012
