Great feel and look Just received in the mail. I bought the Large based on some of the reviews but wish I would have bought the Medium since I'm going to wear as a base layer. I'm 5'10 and weigh 165 - 40" chest. The Large arm length is a little too long and mid section is loose - I wanted a more fit look, close to the body. I'm heading to Nagano, Japan in two weeks and will update the post based on the overall function of the shirt, hence the reason for only 4 stars. So far, I am very impressed and will more than likely buy a couple more. Just hope MH comes out with more colors. January 2, 2015
Go-to active baselayer I bought this as a light mid-layer for a backpacking trip to Patagonia and it performed remarkably well. It fits very well, I am 6' 4" and slender with long arms and purchased a L. It is very lightweight, packable and kept me warm during all manner of weather. It acts like wool when it needs to but one downside is that it starts to retain odor more quickly than straight wool products. Overall, this is a great shirt for workouts, running, hiking, anything strenuous and for one or two days of wear. After that, it really needs to be washed. December 2, 2014
True Base Layer I was looking for a base layer that included wool. I saw this online and thought that it might work as a stand alone also. It is thinner than I expected and probably wont be worn as a stand alone shirt to work or out. But as a base layer, I can't believe there are many products better. It fits snug, but not compression. It contains wool and synthetic. It looks good (though like I said, it will probably be worn under other shirts or sweaters.) and it feels good against the skin. November 21, 2014
Great multi-purpose shirt Great combo of style and function. I bought this shirt to use as my sleeping shirt on longer distance hikes, but I've ended up wearing it to work, on evening trail runs, to the bar, etc. It's very comfy, warm, and good looking. A bit on the small side. I usually wear a medium and so I got a large - it's fits pretty well. I really like the little key pocket, too. Only time will tell regarding durability, but I plan on buying another one next season. November 3, 2014
Great Base Layer! For those of you that are built slightly larger, or just don't like skin tight base layers this is for you. It breaths well, keeps you super dry and does not smell. I layer this under the snowtastic jacket and microchill fleece, it makes for a great combo on all but the coldest days on the mountain. You should really get one of these January 27, 2014
Nice shirt for a run I bought this shirt a few months back and wear it about once a week for trail running, working out, etc. The large is a bit too short and narrow in the arms for me, but an XL fit just fine w/o being too baggy (I'm 6'2; 190lb). Very breathable material and wicks away sweat good. Looks sharp too. January 7, 2014
The Magic Mix! Natures Best! great mix of Merino wool 60% and Polypro. 40% feels more like cotton than wool! fast drying. keeps you warm when you cold but doesn't overheat you when your working hard. wear it for days and days and days without it stinking up. your tent buddy will love this shirt almost as much as you! Great material, poor sizing The product itself is great, but the sizing is funky (I know, a semi-common thing with MH products). I am 6'0, thin. Medium fit great in the arm length but was too tight, large arm length was too long but fit well in the body. September 23, 2013
