Reviews

Men's Ghost Whisperer™ Down Jacket is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations Surprisingly warm for it's thickness. The ultralight nylon is stronger than I had expected. Light weight and material allows great freedom of movement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing jacket Used recently on a 4 day backpacking trip with evening & overnight temperatures around zero Celsius- keptme wonderfully warm over long sleeve base layer under a shell. Half the weight and warmer than my old jacket from another company. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Jacket Looking forward to Testing I'm a 6'3" 165 pound guy and medium is the right size. Haven't given it a good mountain test yet but on first inspection the main zipper seems pretty weak and has a tough time zipping up. Im' worried it might fail in the back country. But for the weight and design the jacket seems like a solid buy and i look forward to giving it further tests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Jacket I own This jacket is great for all occasions. Early mornings, late afternoon walks or in the snow. I live at a higher elevation where the weather changes in a blink of an eye. You will be plenty warm with just a shirt underneath. This jacket is so easy to stow and go, also versatile with what ever outfit you are wearing. Pack it in the pocket and throw it in the truck, you will be glad you did! 5'9" 200 lbs

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So light it feels like you're wearing nothing This is the most lightweight jacket I have ever worn, absolutely incredible that it can still keep you warm yet be so light. Works well in chilly windy conditions, very comfortable. Some people complain they run large but I find this to fit me very well. I'm 5'11 and 160 lbs and I am extremely pleased with the fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Super lightweight but that's all. This is by far the lightest jacket for the warmth, but I returned it immediately after trying it on. I am 5'10" 2215lbs with broad shoulders and a bit of a tummy. I ordered an XL and it was tight in the shoulders and chest, but HUGE across my belly. There's no way I could comfortably size up or down. I may as well wear a poncho for the way it fit. I had NO issues with the quality, but a lot of features are sacrificed for the weight. It has weeny zippers, no liner inside the body or pockets. For the ultralight crowd counting every ounce, this is likely the bee's knees. But between the weird fit and the lack of features for lightness, it was just not for me. It's also ungodly expensive for what you get. I bought a Stretchdown RS and love it. It weighs more, but is still light weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only jacket I need My body temperature usually runs very warm, however during cold weather this is the only jacket I need. It's light and keeps the heat in. Added bonus that I scored on the eggplant color while on sale!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ghost Whisperer and treat This jacket is designed and is so suitable to stuff and pack tightly. The jacket is light and warm enough for a hike with pack. I don't overheat and with a mild breeze I'm not effected in the way other lightweight jackets can be. I recommend this for thru-hiking and that extra outer layer of warmth and protection!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Form and function I had first received the jacket and promptly used it throughout the day. Unfortunately, there was a tight stitch in the arm of the jacket and it ripped as I got into the car. I sent pictures to customer service and got a response right away. I had another one coming and was given a shipping label for the old one. This is what I consider great customer service. The chest is a little large on the design of the jacket but it leaves enough room for layering. My Patagonia houdini XL fits nicely over this jacket.
