Men's Ghost Whisperer™ Down Jacket is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Want to like, but issues and horrible customer service prevent I love the fit and function of this jacket, but a lack of any abrasion resistance to what seems like nearly everything has left me with several small tears in the fabric exterior over the first month of wear, leaving much to be desired. I have made three agents and follow up to customer service, but only responses have been "we're busy and will get back to you"...so, on top of the fact I spent $300 for what has become a house work coat as I can't wear out because of tears and leaking filling. I wish I would not have purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket for two weeks in Japan I picked up this jacket just before leaving for a two week winter trip to Japan. I wanted one jacket that could do it all - warm enough to wear in the snowy mountains with a base layer but lightweight enough to avoid overheating in the islands and make it easy to pack in my carryon. I'm pleased to report, the Ghost Whisperer passed with flying colors. I never got cold during three days in the snow with only a base layer underneath. Despite how packable and lightweight this jacket is, it really is super warm (something I worried about at first because it is so thin... so impressed by the materials). On a few windy days in the islands (in 60 degree weather), the jacket was plenty breathable and I never got too hot. Overall, this has gotta be the most versatile coat I've ever gotten. It's always hard to justify a new jacket when you think you've already got them all, but I don't regret my decision to pick this one up for a second. One thing to note: the material that this coat is made out of can be a bit "sticky"... not sticky as in your hands are sticky after you touch it, but sometimes when I brush against a surface it almost sounds as if the material is tearing, when it fact there is some tacky friction between the jacket and many other surfaces. In the end, the jacket stays in one piece, but something I thought was worth noting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bring back fitted style I ordered medium in black for my husband.... and it was huge in waist and arms! He is 5'11" 165lbs. He has same jacket in silver/gray that we bought 3 yrs ago and it was more fitted in medium. It's still in great shape but just wanted a different color. This is a shiny black too... not impressed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First The Fill And Now The Fit First the fill was decreased in the last couple of years from 850 to 800, and now the fit resembles something I would expect from Mountain Hardwear's parent company. My older XL size fits more athletically than my newer Large size. I am concerned this is becoming a company trend, where corners are cut on quality and sizes/trims are streamlined for mass appeal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Torso too long makes it tight in hips Used this jacket under a shell for skiing the last three days. Warm above 20 degrees but around 6-11 degrees in Vermont a little chilly even with wool thermal underneath and an additional half zip mid. My biggest gripe with this jacket is the fit. I originally bought a large and felt like I was swimming in it and would not be good for layering. I ended up going with a medium (I'm 5"11, 183 lbs) which is better for a layering cut. Fits me great through the chest and shoulders but the jacket is on the longer side and has no give at the waist. Because of this its tight at the bottom because it goes over the butt more than you would expect a jacket like this to. This caused the jacket to ride up more than I would like it to. MH if you are reading this please either shorten the jacket or have elastic inside at the bottom. It's an otherwise great piece if not for the funkiness of the fit. I likely be trying other layers for under my shell until then....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unnaturally large in torso, not athletic The material is great, but it's unnaturally large around the lower torso. It's not an athletic fit, and it shows. The upper torso is great, and I actually like how the arms are relatively slim and fits my wide shoulders, but why the big fat lower torso? Also, the zipper may be light, but it's fragile and prone to coming apart. I want to like it, but it doesn't fit right, and it doesn't seem like I'm alone. Who are you measuring these jackets on..?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Puffy but oversized Awesome puffy and very light but the sizing is big and long in the torso. Seems like some MH jackets I'm a medium or a large depending on the model. I'm 5'10" and weigh 165 pounds. Frustrating. Had to return and pay more shipping costs. Wish I could have found in a store first to try on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic light jacket but not an athletic fit! The only issue is that the body is not designed for an athletic fit. The shoulders and arms are sized appropriately but the body size is not constructed slimmer for the fit individual.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs large. This runs a size larger than stated. A large is really an XL.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sent it back... Didn't like the lenght nor the fit altough it was a good size for me. Just didn't seem like a substantial jacket. Sent it back
