Men's Ghost Whisperer™ Down Jacket is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 117.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't leave home without this jacket. This jacket was essential to my most recent trip and will be invaluable on my thru hike of the JMT this summer. I never thought I would be able to cram an 800 fill down jacket into my pockets, but this jacket proved me wrong. I was able to cram this thing into any small spare crevice or pocket of my pack at all times and wore it 80% of the time I was not actually hiking. The warmth is incredible and even though it looks super fragile it's a very sturdy material. I was thrilled to be able to pack this and a supercharger shell into my day pack during a summit bid on one of my 'off days', I was able to travel super light without sacrificing my warmth or protection from the wind & rain. the q-shield technology makes me confident when travelling in the high sierra where a storm can strike at any time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Jacket of self destruction. I loved this jacket from the very beginning, great fit, looks awesome, incredibly light, and perfectly warm. But, the thread used to keep the down in place, is the weakest bit of thread I've ever seen. And the pockets, love to grab it. But not just the pockets. Throwing on a top layer or backpack that has the slightest bit of grip or rough section? They'll grab and pop the threads. I've owned this jacket for less than a year, and the down in the arms is all congregating at the ends of the sleeves in larger and larger quantities as threads are snapped, and baffles open up. I know other people with the same jacket, and they all have the same issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Jacket I purchased this jacket last year and used it as my mid-layer while skiing, a light jacket for chilly days and it's great for hiking and backpacking because it packs up to the size of a folded t-shirt. It's warm, looks great and is very comfortable. My zipper wore out just as the ski season came to a close and MH exchanged the jacket and covered shipping. I love this jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Down Jacket Among Competitors As an avid outdoor person, I've tried every major outdoor brand of down you can think of. This is the lightest, most durable, most packable, and most intelligently designed down jacket I've worn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ghost Whisper Down Jacket This is a great jacket! It is amazing that a jacket so light can be so warm. Great for travel since it can be stowed taking up little room. Even did great in the rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm Featherweight! I'm amazed at how lightweight this is! It is the perfect packable layer of warmth. I plan to use it for travel along with a lightweight rain shell. Although I normally wear a Large I ended up with the XL for comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably Light & Warm Its hard to believe that a jacket this light can be so warm. After it arrived, I couldnt believe how light it was...sure the description said 7oz but to actually feel how light it was is amazing. The other amazing thing about this jacket was how warm it keeps you. This past weekend it got below 30 and I wore jacket with thin baselayer and light merino 1/4 zip and I was very comfortable. I bought this jacket for a 4 day hike in Grand Canyon and have no doubt it will serve well and can't wait to try it out. My only concern is the outer fabric seems a little crinkley and am concerned it might be noisy for sleeping. I'm 5'10", 173 and Medium fits perfectly. Assuredly, wont be able to wear thick layer underneath, but if you need a thicker layer then you need a different jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Puff Love this thing. The fit is very slim and, in the black color, it can almost pull off a semi-formal look, which makes it versatile all the way from the board room to the mountain. I've now worn it in multiple settings including getting caught out in the rain on a hike and it's held up well, without getting me too wet. It's not the smallest puff I've had when folded up, but the ridiculous weight more than makes up for the slightly larger size. It's still small enough that I would always throw it in my backpack on hikes, backpacking trips, or just normal travel. In terms of warmth, it does a great job as long as you put it on when you're already comfy. It takes a longer time to warm up than previous puffs I've owned if I put it on when I'm already cold, but that's just disciplining myself to not wait. All said, highly recommended and this will be coming on all my backpacking trips as well occasionally out on the town.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Want to like, but issues and horrible customer service prevent I love the fit and function of this jacket, but a lack of any abrasion resistance to what seems like nearly everything has left me with several small tears in the fabric exterior over the first month of wear, leaving much to be desired. I have made three agents and follow up to customer service, but only responses have been "we're busy and will get back to you"...so, on top of the fact I spent $300 for what has become a house work coat as I can't wear out because of tears and leaking filling. I wish I would not have purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket for two weeks in Japan I picked up this jacket just before leaving for a two week winter trip to Japan. I wanted one jacket that could do it all - warm enough to wear in the snowy mountains with a base layer but lightweight enough to avoid overheating in the islands and make it easy to pack in my carryon. I'm pleased to report, the Ghost Whisperer passed with flying colors. I never got cold during three days in the snow with only a base layer underneath. Despite how packable and lightweight this jacket is, it really is super warm (something I worried about at first because it is so thin... so impressed by the materials). On a few windy days in the islands (in 60 degree weather), the jacket was plenty breathable and I never got too hot. Overall, this has gotta be the most versatile coat I've ever gotten. It's always hard to justify a new jacket when you think you've already got them all, but I don't regret my decision to pick this one up for a second. One thing to note: the material that this coat is made out of can be a bit "sticky"... not sticky as in your hands are sticky after you touch it, but sometimes when I brush against a surface it almost sounds as if the material is tearing, when it fact there is some tacky friction between the jacket and many other surfaces. In the end, the jacket stays in one piece, but something I thought was worth noting.
