Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Value Tremendous rain jacket and a bargain at this price. I bought the navy and it wears like a regular jacket, not rain gear. I find it comfortable and breathable and very waterproof with taped seams. I like it more than other rain gear I have purchased at more than twice the price. I would not use it as my backpacking gear as it is too heavy but great for anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light Rain Jacket I live in DC and wear this around town. It's great for this. Haven't taken it trekking or anything, but great for an around town/day hike rain jacket. I got the grey. Looks great. Rick

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Happy I've really enjoyed this jacket so far. It goes over my puffy really well without being too constricting. I chose the dark compass color and find it to be true to my monitor display. The only improvement I could recommend is working in armpit vents-- would love to see these added! It isn't a deal-breaker though, and it has performed well for it's use and cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rain Jacket! This Summer I did a 83 mile hike in the Collegiate West Mountains in Colorado, we managed to hit some heavy rains on this multi day hike and this jacket kept me very dry. It would be nice if it did breath a little better but besides that it fits and looks great!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy Purchased this jacket for lightweight waterproof protection. Could not go wrong for the price. This jacket performs better than any jacket I've ever worn in this price range. It is always in my pack ready to pull rain or wind duty. Breathes as well as most gore-tex jackets I've owned. I am a 32 inch waist with wide shoulders. I were a large in MHW jackets and have always had a good fit. I find many other brands cut tight in the shoulders and huge around the waist. I hate to say this, but I have pro deals with many other brands and always seem to spend my money on MHW products. Wish I could get a pro deal with them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice jacket, but no vents is disappointing This is a good, quality, lightweight jacket. Does well in weather, but for normal conditions, lack of breathability with no vents was disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally satisfied I've been very pleased with this jacket so far as it's kept me warm and dry in the high winds and driven rains of spring on the Plains and for a price 25% less than similar lightweight, minimal rainshells offered by competitors. Fit of the small is great on my frame (5'8" 150lbs) with good length in the sleeves and room to layer without being bulky through the torso.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Service! After wearing the jacket for several years, the lining in the hood began to peel and flake. The Mountain Hardware folks were attentive, prompt, and courteous to my inquiries regarding a possible fix to the problem. After I sent the jacket to them, they determined that it was a manufacturing issue and provided a gift card for replacing the jacket. The whole process was very efficient. I'm a customer for life!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dry. Period. The review title says it all. My Finder is a replacement for my old tried and true, but now basically non-functional, Torrentshell (DWR will wear after a decade). Just in time for Panhandle rains, the shell works just as advertised, and is cut well enough that I can wear a pack and continue to work while it's on. As a point of reference, I'm 5'8"/175 wearing a M. If I'm going to nitpick, it's warm in there when it's a muggy FL day, but that's pretty much true of everybody's waterproof/breathable shell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly warm / great wind and water protection For a simple light windbreaker this jacket is surprisingly warm with just a t-shirt under. I used this on a spring skiing day a few weeks ago when I knew the afternoon wind might pick up near the top of the mountain and wanted to have protection. I found the inside netted liner kept a nice layer between my skin and the waterproof material allowing any sweat to dry quickly. When I got into shaded areas or when the wind picked up I was glad I had the protection. I also used this while crabbing out on the bay yesterday. We had a ton of spray coming onto the boat which we didn't anticipate and everyone else but myself got soaked. With the jacket fully zippered and hood on I stayed dry from my waist up and found the jacket had a ton of mobility for all sorts of weird body positions you find yourself in while crabbing on a small tin boat. A small outer or inner chest pocket would be nice but overall a great buy for the price.
