Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent low cost insulating softshell Great all around softshell, used it this past week in the ozarks and it broke wind like a champ. One downfall to this jacket having insulation (which is what I was looking for) is that it is heavier than your typical softshell. Regardless, I was warm down to 40 degrees with a t-shirt and this jacket. All around a great buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little stiff... Me: 6'2", 230 lbs. X-Large is slightly big and loose. Bought this for a slightly warmer jacket than the monkey man that I already have. Not nearly as comfortable and only slightly warmer. Much better at rain and wind, as described.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First try First try and it is awesome. A little warm for the light breeze but keeps you warm when it's cold out. Would suggest it to anyone in need of a wind breaker and doesn't want to wear a jacket underneath it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Fairing Jacket Love this jacket! Just a tad loose for a large but that is fine for layering. Great jacket for running around in town or walking up the trail behind the house for a morning walk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go-to jacket I like the styling, the fit, top notch materials. Love the fleece inside with windblocking softshell exterior. It's my favorite jacket right now. Just right for NW winter. Warmer than a regular fleece, but not too hot. Roomy enough to comfortably layer a thin fleece when it gets really cold. I'm 6'2" 220 and the XL fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Around Softshell If you're in the market for a new softshell, I highly recommend this product. And I'm speaking as a former owner of the Arctery'x Gamma MX Softshell. With the Fairing you're gonna save a lot of money and get the same function, and in my opinion, a cleaner, more versatile looking jacket b/c you won't have a zippered pocket on your sleeve. Got this in a medium in the Forest Green color (I think that's the name of the color). Fit is spot on. Like all MH gear I've purchased lately the sleeve length is a pinch long but not to the point where it's something that takes away from the function or look of the jacket. For reference I wear a 34/35 sleeve length in dress shirts. Anyway, to me, the fit is fine, but I can see how customers that think they're purchasing tailored items might be up in arms. Anyway, I don't want to belabor the point. This jacket does exactly what a softshell should do and at a great price. Blocks wind. Has a great, soft lining for warmth and has some water repellency. I've been outside (moving mind you, not camping/sitting still) in this jacket in temps dropping to 39 degrees Fahrenheit and been completely fine with just this and a merino wool long sleeve. But that's me. You might need more or less. All that said, highest recommendation. Don't hesitate to buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from versatile and looks sharp! This jacket is perfect for sales professionals who need a go to jacket for popping in the office, or visiting with customers. It's very comfortable, not too heavy or lightweight and I receive many compliments when I wear this one (smolder red). Keeps me warm against the winter cold and is good against rain and wind. I'm 5'10" average build and this jacket fits great and is somewhat slimming.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great For Around Town Only I really love wearing my jacket around town. The jacket is very weather resistant and the tricot lining is nice to take the end off. The internal cuffs are amazing and create a more streamlined look to the jacket. I am athletic and tall so finding jackets that aren't too bulky on me is hard. I am 145lbs and 6'2" so I need something that's trim. This jacket fits that bill really well. I love wearing this jacket around campus. I have to wear business casual a lot and this is a great jacket to go with that because it does not have a too technical look to it. There are some downsides to the jacket though. The lining does provide some warmth but it also greatly limits the breathability of the jacket. Also, it drys very slowly. So while I would never take it adventuring with me, it is one of my first options for campus and around town.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Just received it, and it's exactly what I was looking for: trim, clean design, no loud graphics. I'm 6' 4" 190# and the fit (Large) couldn't be better. Yes, the sleeves are long, which for me is a win. No, I haven't worn it yet, but even with Colorado winters I rarely bother to wear much around town (I have a layered system for outdoor activity), so I'm not worried about warmth. I didn't want a hood, preferring a hat. About the only thing I could wish for is an interior chest pocket (one of the lower exterior pockets has a drop-in interior pocket behind it), but no big deal. I was under the impression the "wrist gaiters" had adjustments, which I don't see, but again no big deal - it looks like they'll help as-is, and I hate velcro. Again, very happy!
