Men's ExtraLamina™ 20 (Regular) 5 5 1 1
Mens ExtraLamina 20 (regular) I love this bag. Let me start off with saying i took this bag practically right out the box on a motorcycle trip from San Diego, CA to Deadhorse, AK. I slept in it every day for 42 days, camped about 30 of those days. We had a few stops where we stayed with people we knew and didn't know..haha. Anyways, I am 5'5" 150 lbs, the bag had plenty of room for me to roll around in like i do without waking up to a zipper in my face or rubbing on my chest. I loved the extra foot room, i truly felt just as comfortable as i do in my bed..... As for climate, i didnt get to try it in 20 degree weather, thank God, but i did experience weather from about 38F to 80F....... i slept in nothing but my boxers every night (except one night there was a bear around and i wanted to have pants on just in case i had to get ta gett'n in a hurry). sleeping in the 40's and 50's was good sleeping. It may have dropped into the 30's here and there, but i never woke up due to the cold and the coldest we noticed on the temp gauge was 38F one morning. Sleeping in the 60's and 70's wasn't bad either as long as i remembered to open up the foot vent at the bottom.... The foot vent does wonders. I had a couple of nights in the high 70's and 80's (i didnt have a temp gauge at this point of my trip, i just know it was super hot and i missed my hammock.) i didn't even bother with the bag, i just slept on my sleeping pad with the bag partially draped over me, and i still woke up to a sweaty back and wet sleeping pad....but who cares, when its that hot. Anyways, great bag, i was fighting buying it because i already had a REI bag rated for 38degrees, but i always had to layer in it in temps in the 50's and lower. And i truly cant remember sleeping as good as i did on this trip, maybe 12 hr motorcycle rides had something to do with it, but i was glad my sleeping bag allowed me to sleep well for 42 days of constant riding. Also, this Extra Lamina 20 Regular packed well. Fit in my 10 liter Sea to Summit Compression Dry Sack just barely.....but once i jammed it in, i could still compress it down about 20 percent smaller than the stuff sack it comes with.
