Men's Elkommando™ Kilt is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 73.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Breezy So far a great product. My only concern is that its only connected by 4 snaps and the small belt sleeve. If you go natural you better be proud.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great kilt I have three of these now- one which has some extra breathing ports (beware fire and sparks when wearing synthetic materials!). I love the overall design and fit- mostly. I'm 6'3" and 215lb- a 36" waist most of the time, but I find the XXL more comfortable (but I had to add my own belt loops and remove the insignificant built-in belt to keep the kilt up where it belongs). Suggestions: please give us a more robust belt, or better yet just skip the internal belt and give us belt loops to accomodate a belt of at least 1 1/2" width, 2" would be really ideal); how about some color options! Khaki and black would be wonderful, other colors would be nice; one or two small pockets in back for a money clip or small wallet would be a most welcome improvement, also. Those of us who have worn one of these kilts are chomping at the bit for just a few minor improvements. If you make it, we'll buy it! One last note: my girlfriends have all loved the kilt! Guys, do yourself a favor and try one on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great kilt Please make this kilt in more colors. Black would be nice, as a for instance. It's comfortable and breathes. I would recommend this product to first time kilt wearers. It handles heat and damp. I got splashed with hot coffee and it repelled it. (No stains after using a wet wipe.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from kilt review Kilt is good quality and good fit except it is too long. I would like to be able to state the length when ordering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a Kilt I have three of these kilts and they are terrific. Great fit, light weight, large pockets and very comfortable. Best for hiking and just around town as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent The kilt is well made. The material is light and perfect for warm weather. The internal belt and side pockets are functional for daily use. The only improvements would be to add beige, navy, and tartan color choices and to make a cooler weather version in heavier material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent every Day Kilt Caveat: I wear kilts almost every day while doing just about everything. This kilt is excellent for every day wear. It is light and durable with a modest form and good fit. While, like most kilts this needs to be ironed after washing, it isn't terribly complicated to do so. The fabric is very soft and light. It appears to be stain resistant as well. I dripped mayonnaise on the apron and it washed right off without staining. The "modesty snap" is a nice feature, but it is really easy to unsnap when walking up stairs. This kind of defeats the purpose. The belt has a tendency of becoming unfastened and is not very attractive (cheap plastic buckle and black nylon web belt). I wish I could swap it out, but it isn't that big of an issue. The pockets (one on either side) are nice and big. I would like to have a back pocket, but this is a preference. I also wish there were more colors available. All told, this is a bit pricy but a well made and comfortable kilt. If more colors come out and/or it goes on sale again I will probably buy more of them. FYI, I am 5' 10" and a size 34 waist (probably closer to 33 actually) The Large fits me with a bit of looseness in the waist and rides right at my knee if I wear the belt at my hips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but could do with more pockets To start with: everything you've heard is true. Kilts/skirts are awesome. Taking the Elkommando off and putting on shorts or pants makes you wonder what's wrong with us all. My wife loves how it looks, and I love how it feels. The Elkommando is comfortable, fits true to size, and is light weight. I would prefer proper belt loops, free-hanging pockets, and another slash pocket or two somewhere on the kilt. We can but dream.
