Men's Dynotherm™ Down Hooded Jacket is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid midweight jacket Bought this to replace an aging Mountain Hardwear Compressor jacket I bought 7 years ago. It's a little thicker and fits slightly looser...but actually the same weight and maybe even a bit lighter than the synthetic filled Compressor. Haven't had a chance to test it in super cold weather but I think it will hold up. Solid piece of gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for the money Used when I spent 10 days in the back country of Glacier National Park.Very light weight but kept the wind off me very well and great in snow fall as for keeping me dry.The warmth is excellent as temps dropped below zero several nights and kept me toasty around the camp fire.Perfect for hiking as wicks moisture very good.Looking forward in using it during my up coming trip to Ouray Colorado Ice Park.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Good Addition!! I bought my "Dynotherm" for a little trek on the John Muir. (220+ miles at 10000 feet average). This was my mid layer with only my rain shell (MH Decent ht hybrid, 8 yo) as my outer layer. I'm 5-11, 160lbs and the medium fit perfectly. We hit all types of weather, from 22° nights, snow, rain, heavy winds, and what ever "She" could throw at us. I was never uncomfortable! Warm during cold, and comfy at regular temps. Light weight, fits into a stuff sac 2.5" x 6". Hasn't lost down loft, and no gathering in areas after washing in "Nikwax Down wash", and adding a couple of flip-flops to the dryer. Over all I would definitely recommend this jacket. My only criticisms are that the elastic at the arm ends and the hood aren't tight enough, and no draw strings on the hood which will flop a little in heavy winds. Thank goodness for Mountain Hardwear, we need quality gear to be comfortable in harsh elements, JB

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Men's Dynotherm Great jacket for the money. I ordered a large at first, which was much too big in the body. The medium fits perfect (I am 6'-0", 185 lbs). Feels a bit more durable than the other down jackets I had been looking at, which I like.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap materials for the bucks Did a lots of research before purchasing this piece, even thought previous review had said that they got products with hole. Well, that is exactly what I got when I opened my package. A hole right on the right side mid chest area. I was very disappointed and the materials also feel very cheap and not durable at all compared to some other brands like north face and columbia. I sent it right back and will never buy from mountain hard wear again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I've worn this guy out in the snow, ocean, at altitude, and during some extremely windy and cold days. This guy will keep you dry and warm. Highly recommend the jacket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing quality. I bought this jacket for my boyfriend for his birthday, we live in northern Canada so I thought this would be a good mid-layer underneath his shell. Since it arrived 2 weeks ago he has worn it underneath his shell just around town and already the down is poking out through the seams; we haven't even taken it out hiking or skiing yet. The jacket is warm and it fits really well, however he doesn't want to wear it now because he's worried the down will keep falling out. I'm disappointed in this purchase, especially for the price, I would have expected better quality. I've never had this issue with any down jacket I have owned, which makes it all the more frustrating as this was a gift.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with jacket Good quality, warm and reasonably compressable. I am 5'11", 230lbs and got the XL in Black/Blue. Fits a bit big, but leaves room for base layer. The LG was too tight around my chest. The elastic cuffs are a bit loose around my wrist and maybe it has shed 10 feathers in the first few weeks I have owned it, but nice and warm in around 0 C and can pack away when things warm up mid day. I will use it for everyday wear, so the 30D ripstop is more appealing to me than the thinner shell of the Ghost Whisperer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for the price this is the first jacket I have purchased with a hood on it. Was looking at a jacket that was light, waterproof and had the warmth to back it up. So far so good seemed to dry quickly (inside and out).
