Rated 5 out of 5 by Function with form Really nice design, clearly very well made and actually look very cool which is an added bonus! Since there's been lots of speculation about the sizing of these I thought it worth saying that the medium works well for me at 6 foot and 175 lbs with a 33" waist. It's worth saying that they are a snug fit though so I wouldn't want to put on any weight, though the back is elasticated so has a fair amount of give.. Haven't had a chance to use them yet but am planning on using them for downhill skiing with a thermal base layer underneath so hopefully they will work for that despite essentially just being a wind/waterproof shell. Time will tell... March 21, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by NOT EVEN CLOSE TO TRUE TO SIZE Wish I had the opportunity to use this product. Didn't even fit close to my normal size. I probably would be two sizes out of what I normally wear if I had reordered. Bummer - because it seems like great quality and I really needed a bib. Not so hot on the sizing though. Rated 4 out of 5 by So far, so good...but beware of fit According to the size chart, I should be in the Small size, but it was way too tight through the torso. The Medium is a bit baggy through the legs, but fits well otherwise (I'm 5'9"/150lbs). The features are nice, especially the ankle zips that allow a bigger leg opening for ski boots, but you can zip them down for mountaineering boots. I'm not 100% sure about the snaps, though they seem to be holding up fine. The zips are good, the drop-seat functionality is a huge plus, as is the two-way center zipper. And the breathable fabric in the uppers is great. I can't say for sure if DryQ is THAT much more breathable than other membranes, but I like it. I've been using these for ski tours but will be also using them for longer expeditions, too, and it seems like they're built for the long haul. That said, there isn't knee/butt reinforcements, so really abrasive rock will take a toll, however the thinner fabric keeps the bibs lighter and more breathable and seems to be a worthwhile tradeoff (and you shouldn't be rock-climbing in your bibs, anyway!) Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice bib, no need for anything else! This bib is very versatile! Although I only use them for skiing, I have used them in both extreme cold and mild skiing temperatures. They excell in back country powder conditions; free movement, tight enough fit for the tight trees yet comfy all the way thru! The material and fit are excellent for movement, dexterity and mobility (back country hiking). I have been pleased in both extreme blizzard and mild conditions. Only difference in preperation was the weight of the thermals warn underneath. This is the point, very versatile and functional in all conditions! December 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Here's how these fit a woman's body I'm 5' 8" and 190 pounds, and I carry most of that weight in my hips. There's no way I could squeeze into the women's version of this garment, so I ordered a men's XL. The fit is perfect—a bit big on top (room for a fat down jacket underneath), and with a few inches to spare around the hips (room for a base layer and normal pants). Based on my experience, I'd say the measurements on the size chart are spot on. So if you're my shape, you'll want to buy a pair that fits around the hip—but you can rest assured that the top part won't be so large that you'll swim in it. July 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great piece of gear I've used these bibs on ski mountaineering trips, hut trips, winter camping. These pants have held up well and have many great features including the rear pant drop. This is great if you are wearing a harness. Would buy them again. True to size. I am 6'0 155 and they fit nicely. June 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid pant These pants are pretty great. I bought these for ice climbing which they work very well for for and the cuffs are large enough to fit over my AT boots so ive been using them for ski mountaineering as well. The breathability is almost on par with a soft shell and they keep moisture out, even when diggin pit after pit in sogging wet snow. January 30, 2015
