Men's Desna™ Full Zip Jacket 4.7 5 3 3
Fits true, not small I found that this jacket didn't really fit small enough to warrant a comment. I bought a large and it was too big. I usually wear a med in MHW 5'11" 165 and this was too big so I sent it back. January 15, 2015
Perfect layering jacket: Found! really like this jacket. I wear this under an Arcteryx shell while skiing. I live in the Tetons and this is the layering piece i have searched for lo these last 14 years. The xl fits me perfectly. I am 5-10 and 230 lbs. I chose this purely for functionality but it didnt hurt the cost was sub-150 bucks. Stylish enough that it looks great when de-layering and taking a ski break and completely functional as a mid layer not being too bulky. December 17, 2014
Everything it's cracked up to be! If you read the profiles of the MHW professionals, the Desna line comes up. I followed their advice and I am very glad I did! This jacket is awesome. Rugged and comfortable. For it's "weight" (meaning the thickness of the fabric) it is quite warm. Absolutely perfect for going up the mountain on a cool fall day, and if the weather turned sour, it would be great for a mid-layer underneath an outer shell. All in all, I can't see the Desna being beat by another jacket in it's class. My only other thought is the fit. It's described as an ACTIVE fit in the description. But I had to go up a size. This makes the sleeves a bit long, but it fits well through the body. But this would not stay true for everyone. I would suggest contacting the MWH guys/gals before a purchase and ask about the sizing. If anyone gets the Desna, I hope they like it as much as me! September 16, 2014
