Men's Desna Alpen™ Hoody is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Desna Alpen Pullover Hoody I went back and forth on this fleece a few times because of sizing. I'm 5"10" 175 athletic and prefer my climbing layers to fit trim. The medium fit a little too loose for my liking, and the small fit too much like a base layer. I like the simple design and purpose of this fleece, so I decided to keep one, the small. I can get a light base layer under it but the two together are a bit snug, and it does ride up a little when reaching up. But I'll take the cons with the pros - the quality is excellent, and the material is a stretchy, warm and breathable smooth face fleece. Nylon mid-layers slide easily over top. The length in the sleeves is designed a little long, which is good for climbing. The hood design is unique and takes a little getting used to, but I ended up liking it after a few uses. The little side pockets are cool for small quick access items, with one caveat. During my use, regardless of the pack I was using, I encountered the same issue- the portion of the backpack straps that wrap around your torso and connect the shoulder straps to the pack, run directly over these little side pockets. So in order to access the pockets, I have to shift the strap over, then reach inside. Not a big deal, just seems like an odd location for pockets considering you're likely to be wearing a pack when climbing. Maybe others will not have this issue, just my experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding I'm very picky regarding fit, and this is spot on. The material is incredibly soft, and makes for a great mid layer. Not incredibly warm, but that's not what this is meant to do. Highly recommended.
