My new favourite top This is not a technical top. It is not especially wicking, nor does it have any particular thermal properties - although I found it as warm as the new lite version of the microchill fleece. That said, I love this top, and have not had trouble finding plenty of uses for it. It has a superb fit, the fabrics are really comfy, and it is very versatile. The cotton is soft enough to be worn next to the skin when mild, I wear it over a tee on a cool day, and as a layer in the cold. It is very low bulk and light, so it is my default all-purpose top taking up minimal space when I travel. I also like the environmentally conscious combo of organic cotton and recycled polyester. Of course with a high cotton content it will shrink if it is tumble dried too severely, so I line dry it or just partially tumble dry it on the lowest heat setting. The athletic fit is exactly how I like it, and how most MH tops used to be: slim through the body and arms, long arms - with thumb loops I'll probably never use but no harm in having them - longish in the body and even longer at the back. A large fits my tall lean build - 6'3", 180lbs, 35in arms - even better than a glove. September 19, 2014
Falls apart after first washing! :(( Loved this shirt when I got it - looks and felt really nice - but, then such a buzz kill after I washed it first time and it fell apart. Collar and chest areas among others began major fraying and material deterioration....I could understand that after 50-100 washings but not 1 single washing. Had to return it. September 14, 2014
I love wearing it but it shrunk a little Great piece to wear to work or activity. I washed it and it shrunk about an inch or inch and a half off the bottom. I don't like that. February 14, 2014
So good, bought a second My husband bought this shirt in green and then we went back and got another in blue. Perfect layering piece - not too heavy or thick. You could add a vest or jacket over it. Great fit and nice colors. January 15, 2014
Looks like something else The picture looks as if it has some spandex but its just cotton stretch. Too large sizing changed for new products. Be sure to read the specifications for materials this one fooled me in the picture. December 31, 2013
Good Layering Piece Thin but functional for a warmer fall day or a great layering piece on colder days. Doesn't quite wick moisture as fast as other pieces but it looks absolutely great! September 26, 2013
Cragger Great Cragger, fit well and held up after several washings and wearings. September 11, 2013
Poor Quality - Avoid This One Ordered the Craggar L/S T shirt from the MH website. I wore it once and found it very comfortable. However, on its first trip through the laundry it developed a hole along one of the seams on the right sleeve. I'm a guide and purchase a lot of outdoor clothing, but would definitely not recommend this shirt. And I'm apparently not alone as other reviewers have voiced similar comments regarding Craggar in their reviews. So I called Mountain Hardwear to effect an exchange, but was surprised ti find I would have to pay return shipping. BUYER BEWARE: Mountain Hardwear will only consider a warranty on their merchandise if the customer bears the cost of return shipping. This policy seems to be an exception in the outdoor industry. Most merchants I deal with are most willing to cover the cost of return shipping of defective items. I'm disappointed and will definitely think twice before ordering again. March 15, 2013
Great pullover This is both sporty and functional. Wear it both business casual and under a fleece for outdoor wear. Light and comfortable. Wish they had more colors in my size. Fits true to size (Large) for me 6'2" 180lbs. February 24, 2013
Unbelievable Comfort I've always been a big fan of MH and just recently purchased my first Cragger, but it most certainly won't be my last. Its the perfect combination of a base layer, or a stand-alone piece. It wicks nearly as well as a polypro shirt, but it's super comfortable, like your favorite, go-to long sleeve, cotton T for lounging around in. It's form fitted, but not tight by any stretch. I'm 5'10" 175lbs, and a medium fits me perfectly. When microfleece is a bit too heavy, this is the perfect alternative. January 8, 2013
