Men's Compressor™ Insulated Jacket 5 5 3 3
A great belay jacket I picked up the Compressor Jacket as a slightly less rugged belay jacket (as opposed to the Quasar Insulated Jacket which is an awesome belay jacket) and/or mid-layer piece for either Spring or Winter. I would not size down, but Large is definitely roomy so I can layer a fleece under it and still have full range of motion for when I am out hiking but the sleeves are a tad bit on the long side. I wish the butter soft jersey cuff liners had the thumb holes, but that's not a real deal breaker to me. Cuts the chill nicely and the weight is really nice for the amount of insulation. Wore it over an MHW Wicked Lite tee shirt this morning and it kept me at a comfortable temp while it was damp/misty and in the mid-50's here in SF while having breakfast outdoors. If you can find this in your size, or if they bring it back for the Fall/Winter, definitely pick it up. I know I will get another. June 14, 2015
Great Jacket! As a vegan I wanted to stay away from down. Check! I wanted a light, comfortable, warm jacket for fall to spring. Check! And if it gets really cold, a mid-layer under this jacket keeps me warm on even the most blustery midwest winter days. January 25, 2015
A Must Have Piece of Gear I got turned on to the Compressor Jacket back in 2004. It became my one go-to jacket for work and leisure. I routinely go from Northern Ontario to Central Oregon to Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire and this jacket keeps me very comfortable. It is super light weight. It packs well. It washes well. What is not to like? January 7, 2015
