The Lamina 35° is an excellent choice for damp, cool conditions. Welded layer construction maintains loft in the bag through repeated washings and compression cycles. This comfortable, roomy, mummy cut bag is insulated with ThermicMicro™ fill. Face gasket and Ergo Draft Collar work together to seal in warmth.

The Women's UltraLamina 15° Welded, with Thermic Micro™ for outstanding compressibility and durability, the women’s UltraLamina is an excellent choice for damp, cold conditions. Consistently dense insulation maintains loft through repeated washings and compression cycles, and the women’s specific cut increases insulation in the torso and footbox. Dual side zips allow the user to sit up and read or cook while staying inside the bag.

The ExtraLamina 20° The extra action camping bag: welded Lamina™ construction for compressible, lofty warmth in a wide, semi-rectangular shape. LAMINA CONSTRUCTION:THE EVOLUTION OF SYNTHETIC
Maximizing loft is the true measure of synthetic sleeping bag design. Over time, all synthetic bags gradually lose loft due to stuff sack compression and general wear and tear. Designing a synthetic sleeping bag that would retain loft — and warmth – over the long haul became our engineering challenge, and our welded Lamina construction was born.
Welding

Welding stabilizes the fill without sewing through the bag and pinching the insulation, maximizing warmth and loft.

Sewn seams pinch through the bag and can compress the insulation. Sewing a bag often requires more fill to compensate for cold spots, thereby increasing bag weight.

Thermic Micro Insulation
Developed for its loft, durability and excellent compression. Thermally bonded microfibers compress tighter - and spring back faster - for better loft retention. Exclusive to Mountain Hardwear!
