Lamina™ Z Bonfire –30° Sleeping Bag (Regular) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bulky but warm! I used this bag for a month in the Himalayas, at altitudes as high as 6m/20k ft...despite how bulky the bag is rolled up it did the job (even without a liner)- at most times I typically had to open it in the middle of the night to allow heat to escape. The zipper along the side is not the easiest to pull up and down while inside, and typically sticks or snags the liner which is the biggest issue I had with the bag itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Military Review I recently used this bag in Republic of Georgia for numerous field exercises throughout the winter season. I also took it to Germany, where we spent a month in the Bavarian climate in February. As I laid toasty at night, I found pleasure in hearing my other teammates toss and turn shivering and complaining about the cold. I was pretty much sweating in this bag and the double zipper allowed for ventilation. LOVE IT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Bag! I used this bag in Norway above the arctic circle, it held up nicely i was in temps down to -20 and i was just fine sleeping in just my boxers. i highly recommend this bag to any one that is looking for something cheap and willing to carry a little extra weight. over all very well made bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Down? Live in Alaska and generally have need for colder rated bag. I have used competitor's -20F down bag for years but got this to try out the synthetic. Amazingly the synthetic weighed in at just one more ounce over the down bag which isn't as warm. I was very impressed with compressibility of the bag as well. The come-with compress sack could be replaced with slightly better one and could probably get the back even smaller for that winter pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome bag. I recently bought the lamina bonfire. The bag was excellently made, and from the looks of the it would have lasted many seasons. Unfortunately if u are looking into this bag take the pack down size into mind. It packs down to the size of about a regular kids sleeping bag, and could not use it for my long hikes.even with this i still give it a 10 because of the great quality the bag is. And will be getting smaller lamina in the future for backpacking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bag- great price and quality, super warm & comfortable I purchased this for my husband who teaches arctic warfare classes in interior Alaska. He spends a great deal of time outdoors in the winter, which means lots of overnights in very cold temperatures. Even when he has to overnight in a 3-season tent, his Lamina bag keeps him warm. The long size is true to its description; my husband is 6'4" and has enough room to stretch out. There's a drawstring around the opening so you can close it completely, and a lip sewn in around the top helps keep the heat from escaping if you choose to have the bag open around your face. The quality is also amazing- the stitching is top-notch and the material is very durable yet not too heavy (it's a pretty lightweight bag for the temp rating). The bag compresses fairly well, but does take up quite a bit of space- probably around 40-50 liters depending on how well you compress it. For the temp rating, water repellency, and price, you really can't get better than this. Mountain Hardware just makes awesome stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm so far Haven't had the weather to really test this out yet but I was too warm on a -7C night wearing just my shorts. It would be nice if the neck baffle came a little longer or had a place to tie to on the back side of the bag. Otherwise I like it so far.
