Reviews

HyperLamina™ Flame 20 (Regular) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag, But I Couldn't Deal With the Half Length Zipper I tend to overheat in a sleeping bag even when it's freezing out. So when I saw this bag I was really psyched about the ability to unzip down the middle to air out more evenly than you can with a side zipper. Unfortunately when I got in this on the floor of my living room I realized that I would really miss the ability to put a foot out at the bottom to regular my temperature. Often I like to keep the bag snug over my torso but open at the bottom. This is not to say that I wouldn't recommend this bag- it really is a great, warm bag that packs very well (even though it has synthetic fill). If you sleep easy and don't overheat easily this bag would be a great buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from HyperLamina I just received this bag and so far I love it. The fit is great (I am 5'10"). The center zip is also excellent and very useful. I will be using this bag for the upcoming summer season on the North Slope of AK. I will update/write a new review after a full summer of use. I only give four stars as I have not used it enough to warrant a five star.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Casual camper I bought this sleeping bag for my son for a few Spring outings. He likes it a lot--comfortable, soft, functional. His only drawback is that it runs a little snug for him. (However, he did NOT want me to return it. :) For a guy, I would say his build is average--5'11'', 36' waist. Otherwise, I would have rated excellent instead of good. The quality of materials is excellent. Very good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Innovative bag First , let me say I have only used this bag for one 3-night backpacking trip in the Wallowas in late September, so my experience with this bag is minimal. However, from what I have done with it so far, I really like it. Things I appreciate about this bag: -the center zip ROCKS. It's in such a natural and easy-to-access location. Why aren't more bags built this way? Also appreciate the double-pulls so I can vent my core -the draft collar and double-pulls allow for great customization of the face and retain heat very well -the bag is ultralight for its temp rating, very warm, and very compressible -kept me toasty into the low 30s naked, no liner Cons: -none so far!
