Hylo™ 3 Tent is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the size for the weight My family purchased this tent for our summer backpacking trips and it worked well, but was slightly small. We liked that it holds up to 3 people, and has a vestibule for extra storage and ventilation. We also noticed the thin base of the tent and bought the footprint for next years trip. We continue to use of this tent, and like the low weight and vestibule!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Single Wall I just finished off a weekend warrior trip using the Hylo 3 Grey Ice. Materials: Before the trip I looked at the materials on the floor, body and vestibule areas. All rip stop, and nylon fabrics were of good quality. The thickness was good; I knew the tent would work well for this type of trip. Pole Set: The single pole set was strong, with tough plastic pieces, and created a great tent structure to maximize the amount of space inside of the tent. Guy Out's: I positioned the tent so the wind can blow through the end vents at my campsite. I fully guyed out all four corners. I did notice that I did not like that one wedge wall guy locations were to low not allowing the poles to fully pull the poles, and fabric taught. I suggest placing them on the second clip instead of the first. This will allow the guy out to pull the tent body and pole taught. Footprint: I placed a thick tarp under the tent for a footprint, but noticed that the tent did not have a waterproof tube. All of the seams inside of the tent were fully factory taped and sealed, so I did not worry about this that much. Waterproof Quality: I did experience a bit of moisture over the weekend (heavy drizzle); the tent did not leak at all and held out water well. When I woke up the water beaded nicely on the fabric. There was condensation inside of the tent because of its single wall construction, but I did not experience any water runoff or standing water inside of the tent. Storage: There was very little storage inside of this tent. One small pocket above the door, and two small pockets on one wedge wall. There is not an option for an additional gear loft (triangle or rectangular). For additional floor storage space using the door vestibule works, but if you want to have a bag larger than a small duffle it would not fit. Sizing: The tent was a bit tight for two full grown adults, equipment, and a small dog.
