Ghost™ Sky 3 Tent is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed The mesh on the door ripped the first night I used it. The second time using it, I got a hole in the bag that you stuff the tent in. For $530, I can't believe how bad this tent has turned out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ghost Sky 3 This tent was sent to me to replace my 6 yr old Skyledge 3 which I loved...but the rainfly finally wore out. I love this spacious new tent, they are both ULTRALIGHT (with the footprint 5 lbs) both take up a lot of space in my pack...that's what you get for a 3 person, this one FEELS larger (possibly higher height?) but when laid on top of each other they are the SAME. The strength ,durability, & living space are awesome, but what is sacrificed for weight is warmth. It IS DEFINETLY colder than my previous tent. I just bought a warmer bag liner, as I usually am a fair weather backpacker anyway...it POURED rain on us one afternoon over Labor Day weekend and it seemed to hold up great! I hope to have many years out of this one & am so HAPPY with Mountain Hardwear's warranty & customer service overall!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very dusty I bought this tent for a two month cycle camping trip through Spain. I was looking for a really lightweight tent that could pack down nicely into an apidura saddle bag. For a cycle camping trip I would not recommend it. I would probably opt for a two person tent. Firstly, though this isnt an actual issue with the tent, the poles are just too long to fit inside the apidura bag. It's quite dry in Spain and after a windy night we woke up absolutely covered in dust. I was worried that my phone would be damaged but luckily it was stowed away in a bag. The doors are also really small, and when you get out you kind of have to go on your haunches and edge forward, which kind of makes you look like you're doing an impression of a T-Rex. A lot of places you end up camping are not grass, and quite solid, so the part that covers the door can't be pegged down, which means a large piece of the tent flapping in the wind all night, which can be extremely irritating when you're trying to sleep. This also means when you pull the zip up that it gets caught on material all the time because it's hanging loose. The footprint doesn't really fit properly either, but I'm wondering if the supplier who sold me it just sent me a footprint for some other Mountain Hardwear tent. The inside pockets of the tent, after being used for a few days, are really saggy and heavier things like passports just start falling out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Fabric and Poles I am typically a huge Mountain Hardwear fan and was really excited to purchase my first Mountain Hardwear tent – the Ghost Sky 3. However, after using for the first time on a weekend camping trip I am very disappointed with the tent. Cons: * Fabric is poor quality. Floor ripped the first night I used the tent. Tent was set on a grass surface with the Ghost Sky 3 footprint, so I was very surprised that the fabric tore after one use. * Tent poles are poor quality. After taking the tent down from my two night camping trip, one of the poles was permanently bent. * Extreme condensation develops inside the tent. When using this tent with the rainfly, expect a ton of moisture to develop inside the tent. Sleeping bags and tent walls were dripping wet in the morning despite perfect weather overnight. * Large mesh ceiling allows lots of dust to blow into the tent even when covered with the rainfly. * Vestibule zippers do not unzip completely. Zipper stops at bottom, which causes a tripping hazard and makes it difficult to enter the tent. * Very small for a 3-person tent. My wife and I shared the tent, but it was a tight squeeze. Just enough room for two sleeping pads side-by-side. Pros: * Color scheme looks great. * Large mesh ceiling gives nice views when not using the rainfly. * Compact size when packed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tent review Great tent, light and easy to backpack. In all the tent is great. My only 2 complaints are that it listed as a three person tent and it's more of a two person tent really and the floor is very thin, so for most backpacking campsite I'm going to have to get and carry a footprint to keep from hole in the floor.
