Mountain Hardwear's innovative Exodus frame is the first pack to provide excellent mobility and stability without restrictive tension. Our patented Fit-Lock™ harness and waist belt custom contour to the user's body and the stabilizing U-Bar controls the load without limiting range of motion. Pivoting joints on the waistbelt allow the frame to move with the body, maintaining exceptional control and balance.

Controls Load Without Restricting Mobility

Traditional frames rely on tension and compression to stabilize the load, but typically increase pressure on the upper body and reduce mobility.

Unlike other packs on the market, the Exodus frame controls the load without pinning the body to the pack, which can limit range of motion.

1. U-BAR™: The proprietary U-Bar increases load control and balances the weight across the shoulder harness C-Curve yoke frees the shoulders and increases range of motion through the arms and torso. 2. FIT-LOCK HARNESS & WAIST BELT: Foam padding contours to each user's unique body shape, then a stiffening overlay secures the custom shape in place to avoid constant readjustment. 3. PIVOTING WAIST BELT: Stays put on the hips and allows the frame to pivot with the torso. As the user's posture changes, the frame moves with the body, maintaining balance and load control. Pivoting design also allows a more natural, upright body position.
