Double Back™ Belt 4.2 5 32 34
Keeps my pants on This belt is the only belt I have found that doesn't slip. January 16, 2014
Easy Belt Good Webbing Easy Black Belt made from good quality webbing. Pretty long but I just cut and melted my edges like regular rope or webbing. Perfect! December 11, 2013
Big width, bigger length This belt is huge. You better have some pants with some big belt loops as you're going to need them. Length is an issue, too. I have a 34 inch waist and the length of this belt wrapped around to the 5 o'clock position of my waist. I actually took a soldering iron and melted the webbing to make the belt 4 inches shorter. I guess the length is so long to be able to sell it as a one-size-fits-all belt? Sizing issues aside, the belt buckle on this is very high quality. It's a double back construction, like a lot of climbing harnesses are and it keeps your pants secure. October 25, 2013
Double Back Belt While this belt is attractive, the thickness of the belt material is not as what I was hoping for. July 20, 2013
Overall great Overall a really fine quality belt that fits well. The only problem I had was I needed to trim the end off, and it unraveled even after burning it. I cut more off and burned the heck out of it and it's working just fine. May 21, 2013
Comfort One of the most comfortable belts I have worn. Holds tight but very flexible and conforms to hip. March 15, 2013
Belted . . . While I enjoy the simplicity and look of the Double Back, I'm a bit disappointed with the thickness of the actual nylon webbing it's made from. It just has a flimsy feel to me. I think it would be nicer if there were a bit more heft to it. January 2, 2013
Double back belt Great belt… easy to adjust and very functional. December 12, 2012
A nice belt to have. I like this belt better than other belts because it stays where I put it and I don't have to put holes in it to adjust to my new size. It also has taken on some damage from some of the things I work around but the damage has not grown on its own as with some fabric belts. September 5, 2012
Good Belt I like the belt, but it just isn't as stout as I was hoping for. I am not worried about it falling apart, it is just a little flimsy if you are putting anything of weight on your belt. If you are buying it just for a belt, it is great. It just so happens, I am a gear nut and have multiple items strapped on my belt at any given time. May 21, 2012
Pretty Nice, Dissapears under Tool Belt This is a decent belt. It is all a little wider then I thought it was going to be but it is very flexible so it isn't a problem and I forget I am wearing it when I am working with a tool belt on. A lot of reviews said it was too long. I am a 34inch waist and it is fine. A little extra tail is easily tucked into itself. It holds my pants up and is comfortable. That is mainly what I am looking for. May 14, 2012
Quality I had the old "nut" belt and wore it several times before throwing it in the bottom of the closet cause it slipped loose most of the time. This new design is AWESOME. One can tell just from looking at it that it holds. I've been wearing it at the fire department and it holds up my radio, duty belt, multitool great with NO slippage. I then also wear it off duty on my ski pants and climbing gear too. Its a very good belt! March 4, 2012
Lightweight, solid belt The double back belt has turned out to be great lightweight belt. The buckle cinches tight on my ski pants as well as my jeans. The only issue I have is that the belt material is a little too flexible; stiffer webbing would help. but over all I have been pleased with it. February 21, 2012
Quick and easy I haven't owned a webbed belt before, but this one is great for casual use. The webbing has a bit of a memory so that it can not be laid straight out anymore, but this doesn't concern me. I'm wearing it comfortably right now, and I expect to buy this belt again. February 14, 2012
Great Belt! This is my first belt from MH and I love it! Durable, strong, light, flexible, and comfortable. The buckle lays flat and stays exactly where I set it, no matter how long I'm wearing them. One note: the belt is a little long. I wear a 33"-34" pant and I had a lot of excess belt that had to be trimmed. The belt is so good though that I suspected that from other reviews and sisn't mind taking the extra care to get it how I wanted it. February 9, 2012
Flimsy While the buckle is light weight and the webbing is too, they sacrifice the firmness of the webbing which crinkles and does not straight when tightened, especially when wearing accessories on the belt. Wish it was thicker. otherwise the belt is easy to take on and off and looks sharp when seen from the front. January 30, 2012
Great Belt! Very comfortable and sinch holds tight. Was long for me but easily cut with rope cutter to cusomize length. January 14, 2012
Great belt This is my second double back belt (I have another color). super packable and comfortable. highly recommend it. a little casual to wear with everything, but its perfect for casual wear. January 11, 2012
Good belt! The belt is well made! I am probably a 36" waist and I have 3-5 inches of left over belt once it is on. Should last a long time! December 29, 2011
favorite belt this belt is awesome! the metal buckle is light weight. does the job without loosening at all after an activity. December 23, 2011
Great belt This is now my favorite belt I own. Very stylish, fit's great and is really durable. I like this belt because it has a great design that is very easy to use. December 15, 2011
Almost a great belt First of all, this product does what it says it will do - hold up your pants. The color is great and the buckle works well. This is a bit more sturdy than the Alloy nut belt. It's really just some 1.5" thick webbing and a nice buckle. If MH makes improvements to this belt, I would suggest making it like the military belts - 1.75" and a tad bit more sturdy. With those changes, this belt would be fantastic. October 24, 2011
looks cool but.. the webbing is a bit flimsy and wont stay flat when holding up my britches. they need to make the webbing stiffer. the buckle is solid and easy to put on and off since there is no cap on the end of the webbing. September 24, 2011
Exactly what I was looking for Got this belt to replace the Army issue tan belt that is too rigid. This belt is perfect, a tough but soft pliable belt that is wide enough and looks "mil-spec". Great belt, exactly what I was looking for. July 5, 2011
Great Light Weight Belt Great light weight belt. Need to put belt width online for future customers. April 5, 2011
great Durable and reliable. this belt is great because it adjust easily and look great. I can wear it in the office and in the backcountry. February 25, 2011
Awesome fit, but the look could use some help. I got this belt because I'm a thin lady with barely hips. I got the sand color. The belt is super comfortable to wear, which is surprising because I resisted a belt for sooooo long on the premise that they are highly uncomfortable. It's easy to take on and off and the doubleback really does keep it snug in place. However, cosmetically, this belt could use some help. First of all, it's SHINY. I am totally not a fan of that. It seems more shiny than normal climbing webbing, even. Unlike some other reviewers, I found the width to be adequate, but the material does seem a little bit flimsy for a $30 belt. I would have expected a little better. Also, if you are very thin, you will probably need to cut off some of the end and re-melt it with a lighter, as I did. With all that said, it's serving me well and I don't regret the purchase, just wish I would have gotten a different color. January 22, 2011
double back belt Belt is acceptable with the exception that I am a 38" waist and this belt could be longer for me. January 14, 2011
A little thin I'd purchased this to repace the rigger's belt I wear with my ODUs (Coast Guard utility) and I really like the mechanism (easy to tighten and loosen and remains set). But the width of the belt is less than that of a standard issue rigger's belt. Something to consider if you are wanting to have these pass as an acceptable uniform item. December 13, 2010
works well and stylish! works well as a work belt (black) and also at home with your favorite pair of jeans. Its great to have a conversation centered around your midsection with another MHW enthusiast... December 1, 2010
Good belts Liked the first one so much I bought another - great belt. October 26, 2010
Double Back Belt This belt turned out to be better than i thought. I was a little worried about the belt slipping through the buckle, but as it turns out it stays secure nicely. I've had it for a few days and I dont have to keep tightening the belt like my previous one (which i have tossed in the garbage). If you want a nice belt that works and looks good than I would highly recommend this belt. September 25, 2010
