Chockstone™ Hike Pant is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these pants! I love them! They are super comfy, kept me warm when it was so cold I had to wear my heaviest winter jacket, but did not have another pants layer, and kept me cool when it was really hot outside. I spend all day everyday outside, so really needed a pair of pants that would keep me warm and cool under varying conditions, would be comfy no matter what position I'm in, and would look decent. Oh and that would repel water. So far, these pants fit the bill. The only real complaint is that your underwear lines show right through. This is really annoying to me, I have to buy "invisible" undies just to wear with these pants, and even those still show through. Another thing other people might not like is how loud they are when you walk. They are really loud. But I find that trade off more than acceptable :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pants. Best. At long last someone makes a pant as good as men get 'em!!! I love these so much. I love how they fit, I love how they look, I love how they function, I love that they don't have giant cargo pockets and zippers to transform them into shorts. I love them. I have worn them to work in the hospital where they passed off as slacks, and on long trad expeditions - and throughout all of this I've had superior comfort, breathability, and a flattering look. I'm serious, these are the best. My wife is super jealous that I got 'em first. Buy these! They are worth full price! They are so good. On fit, I'm 130, 5'7, 27 in pants and got the size 4 w/ the 32 inseam, and they fit perfectly and hover right above the ground.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stupid snap wrecked a good pant I have an older pair of the alpine clockstone and love them. I work in the bush and I need pants that will hold up and give me lots of range of motion. I am constantly climbing and crawling over blowdown and slash. My older alpine ones are great and I wanted to order another pair, however I made the mistake of ordering these lighter weight ones. That's ok I can find use for these doing something else, however why on earth did MH replace the button with a snap!!! Snaps are useless and I specifically don't order pants from other companies because they have snaps. Now MH is getting rid of the button too?! I'm very disappointed but at least my taylor will be busy. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found hiking pants long enough I am about 5 '10 and have a hard time finding pants long enough, these pants fit perfect. they are lightweight and durable and will hold up on long hikes and camping trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the only pant you need for summer These pants are so badass. The lightweight softshell is so breathable you can wear it hiking or climbing on a hot day and be comfortable. The ankle cinch is awesome for climbing. I do wish the thigh pocket was deeper - not quite long enough to fit an iphone 6+ or Samsung s7. Regardless, this is my favorite summer active pant - buy all 3 colors, you won't regret it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit, very comfortable I wear a size 0 and it's very difficult for me to find hiking pants that fit, but these are great! They fit perfectly, are very comfortable and breathable, and seem well constructed. My only complaint is that the little nylon belt doesn't stay cinched very well and seems unnecessary. Overall, I'm very happy with these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic hiking pants I wore these for a day of field work today in the heat - put on 6 miles in them. The material is soooo awesome. I will never get hiking pants that are not this material again. So amazingly comfortable and stretchy. I'm 5'7 150 lbs, athletic build, long torso and shorter legs, and the size 10, length 32 fit perfectly. The only thing I don't like as much on these is the belt. Kind of chincy addition to such great pants. But I still think the pants are excellent and would buy them again. Has enough pockets in the right places, and they were great size - nice and large, and love the zippers on all of them - a must have so I don't lose things out of my pockets while hiking in the field. Not too hot, seem to be water resistant (light spray), draw cords at ankles are great. Love these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Always too big I'm quite disappointed the direction Mountain Hardware has gone with their clothing. If a size 0 does not fit a petite 5'2" 105# woman, what does? I bought almost the same pant, in a size 0, 4 years ago and they fit perfectly. This size 0 is so big they won't even stay up on my hips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit I wear these pants river guiding and they are so comfortable and dry quickly. Also very pleased with the long size. Being 5'10" I struggle to find pants that are long enough.
