Scrambler™ TRL 30 4.2 5 5 5
Wanted a casual daypack I was looking for a dayback that I could take with me on small hike, possibly rock climbing if packing light, and to use when biking to work. This pack has fit the bill nicely. There is one main compartment, a top compartment, and small side compartments on the hip belt. I actually appreciate this simplicity. I haven't tried packing 50+ lbs of gear (yet), but the comfort has otherwise been good. I feel the contruction is sound, and the drawstrings have a lock that is super easy to use and straighforward. If/when this pack wears out, I will likely get another. April 22, 2013
Excellant day pack! What got my eye first about this pack is a)the color, jumps out at you b)lash points c)big side pockets and d)it's a top loader. It's small enough for a youngster to handle just about anything they would need on a day hike. It's hydration capable, but not for a big bladder. Excellent fastpack This is now my go to fastpack. I completely understand why it is categorized under backpacking. Someone asked why there is not dedicated hydration sleeve, there is an adjustable strap positioned at the top of the pack to attach a hydration sleeve. I appreciate the lack of an additional sleeve being a gram counter. May 30, 2012
good bag but wrong color? overall, it's looks like a good pack for backpacking and hiking. but the color was different than what is shown on the website. the dark grey is actually the same light grey. also, no dedicated hydration sleeve built-in however there are holes at the corners to loop the water tube through. and no clip built-in to attach to the top of the hydration pack. ended up buying the Fluid 32 because it has a dedicated hydration sleeve. will probably return this but a good bag overall. Surprisingly big enough My initial reaction when I pulled the Scrambler TRL 30 out of the box was one of slight disappointment. I had thought the pack would be a little bigger. Upon using it, however, I completely changed my thoughts. It is still big enough to comfortably fit a lunch, couple jackets, water bottles and other loose articles of clothing; anything you would need for a day out. It fits comfortably on my back (and I'm 6'5") and is very light weight. The drawstring is super easy to use and the straps definitely come in handy. This is now my all time favorite pack for day trips. February 28, 2012
