Super warm, super light I ordered this jacket thinking I was getting a super warm thick jacket, but what it actually is is the warmest lightweight jacket. There are warmer jackets that Mountain Hardwear makes, but if you're looking for a super nice, super light, excellent warmth to weight ratio jacket, this one is awesome! I'm 5'5", 108 lbs. and the XS fits me perfect. The sleeves are plenty long, which is usually hard for me to find. Everyone's different, but I'm usually always cold and this jacket with just a t-shirt underneath and jeans on keeps me warm at just around freezing, and down to about 20 degrees if I've got on warm pants and am walking. Great jacket, totally recommend it! January 1, 2013

Not what I expected for the price! I bought this coat for the cold Montana winters and wanted something that wasn't too bulky. This coat is lightweight and warm although the outside material is very thin and somewhat transparent which the dark feathers show through in many places and makes the coat look like it has dirty spots. Also, the hood will not stay cinched as the cords appear to be nylon. I am forced to keep it as I don't have time to return it before snow falls. I believe for the price, this coat is no better than a lesser priced lightweight down coat. I purchased the neon light color. November 7, 2012
