I love this jacket! I am 5'0 tall and 106lbs and I got the jacket in black XS and it fits perfectly! I am a climber, and there is plenty of room or an athletic body type and the range of motion is wonderful. So far I've worn this jacket climbing in Rumney, NH, as well as in light rain and the water repellent finish worked very nicely. I also love the huuuge hood, definitely helmet compatible. Best Jacket Ever! Extremely impressed by the Barisian jacket. I'm one of those people who is always slightly chilled especially by the wind. Put it on, and no more cold! But no worries, it's not too thick to make you hot. Better yet, it's flattering and has a casual sleekness to it. August 5, 2011
Current Favorite Jacket I've found this jacket to be perfect for aerobic activities on cold, winter days. I wear it primarily when running or cross country skiing, sometimes in -30 degree weather. I have it in red, which makes me easy for cars to spot when I am running or walking on the road. The fit is great—fitted, but loose enough that I can wear extra layers underneath when needed. Perfect Jacket for Perfect Alaskan Day I love this jacket. It keeps the sometimes chilly transition seasons in Alaska bearable. My only complaint is the velcro wrists. It does not matter the size you tighten the wrist to, the velcro adheres to the jacket part way and then the opposing velcro side. I have only had the jacket three weeks and I already have small snags between the seam and the start of the velcro edge. To solve this I simply took a piece of loop-side velcro and cut it to shape and attached it. It is a poor design that is truly cosmetic. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who wants a comfortable and a stylish around town jacket, but might take a side hike up the mountainside on the way home! February 14, 2011
I love my Barisian Jacket! I purchased my jacket for trail running in the Utah mountains. Just today I was caught in a down pour of rain. My Barisian jacket kept me warm and dry. I love the warm inner fleece and the snug hoody. The extra large deep pockets are perfect for all my trail gear (even dog leashes). December 11, 2010
Great Jacket! I ordered this jacket in the teal and I love it! The fit is a little bit longer than the average jacket so I don't feel like it is always creeping up on me (most jackets tend to have too long of arms and too short of torso). It has a fleece lined interior which is really comfy and I love having a hood for those really rainy or windy days. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a lightweight, but durable and effective jacket. November 18, 2010
