buy two pairs when you buy them . They will wear out after 2 years and you will have nothing to wear when it's cold and windy outside when you are snowshoeing.
I would recommend this product.

So Warm and comfy

Bought these and the micro power stretch, medium in both. The waist rides lower in these and a higher waist in the micro power stretch. Both are very warm, very comfortable and the same stretchy material. I love them both!!
The micro power stretch runs a little larger than these, I could have gotten away with a small, but the medium will work.

Intended running leggings, but missed the mark

Fleece material is soft and warm and the waistline fit well, but the rest of the fit was off. Too short on the ankles, and way too roomy in the croch. I am 5'7" and usually wear a size 2.

Warm!

Wonderful tights. They fit just right. Bought a medium and I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs. I've only worn them around the house so far since we have had no snow. Think they will fit great under my snow pants for a nice and toasty base layer. Will be good alone for snowshoeing as well. Very happy with the quality and the purchase of these tights!

These are a great base layer other than the fit. I'm 5'6", 140 pounds with short legs. I think they're supposed to sit real low on your waist, but these sit really low. I wore them under my drysuit and tended to have a gap between my top and bottom as I kayaked. My shirt wouldn't stay tucked in. I imagine it'll be the same problem snowboarding. Really though, these are AWESOME!

great fabric tad small

I love the material. The rise in back is a little on the low side and overall feel a bit tight. I wear a 6-8 pant size and got a medium and think I will now order a large.

Love these tights. Whether I'm doing yoga in my freezing cold house, working an ax outside, or snowshoeing on the mtn, these tights keep me warm. As my thickest pair of tights, these can be paired with a light layer for active days, or worn alone in the house. My only complaint is that the low-rise waist could be a little more snug.

These are my go to weekend comfy pants, my black leggings when its cold. I just bought another pair so that I have two in case one is dirtly when I want to wear them. I wish they had some other colors.

I'm new to the extreme winter thing, and have little experience with base layers. I purchased these tights after the rave reviews, and I'm glad I did. I expected them to feel tight like Spanx but they are so comfortable, I barely notice I'm wearing them. I haven't worn them out in the cold yet, so I can't comment on their warmth. But they feel awesome just lounging around the house. They are a bit thicker than standard thermals, so I don't know if they'd fit under my regular jeans, but they fit under my sweats and I'm sure under my snow pants as well.
I normally wear a size 6-8 in pants and the Large fits just right. In my experience so far, Mountain Hardwear products run a bit on the small size.

Super Warm

Awesome pants. Fit is great and they are incredibly comfortable. I love that they are reversible and designed well enough to be worn alone. I live in Alaska and will wear them under jeans on the really cold days and under my snowpants for skiing, snowmaching, hiking and other outdoor winter activities.

I love these pants, and I want to wear them all the time. However, the fit is a little weird. I am 5'3" and 100 lbs. I bought the XS, and they fit very well in the legs (and usually this is the loosest part of pants for me), but they are a little lose at the waist and crotch. They sit very low, and there seems to be an excess of material in the crotch area, so they are a little baggy there, and they slide down a little when I bend over. I still love them, though, because they are so comfortable and warm, and overall they look great. They can get a little annoying when I am doing something very active, but I usually wear them under pants, so you can see them sliding down.

I really like the double sided fleece and smooth material. These are a lower rise pant so don't expect them to sit on the bellybutton line. I like this because I don't feel so silly if I want to wear them on their own. I have only tried them on for fit but looks like they'll be great for layering and also for just wearing around the house. I am 5'9" and 130lbs and ordered a small because it fit my dimensions, however I am considering returning it for a medium because the lower half of the legs are very tight. I wish it came a little bit longer, it hits about 2.5 inches above the ankle and I really like a baselayer that hits my ankle.

I love this tight. It fits close but not binding and the fleece side is very soft and warm. I wear tit as a base layer under clothing or just by itself. It is very, very comfortable.

Ordered these tights for winter hikes and snowshoeing. They are incredibly comfortable and warm. The fact that they are reversible is a big plus. My only issue with the product is that the crotch seam seems a bit short causing the waistband to sit more on the hip than at the waist. I ordered a small as I usually wear a small petite but perhaps should have ordered a medium.

I love this base layer. Incredibly comfortable, perfectly warm. I'm always cold, but these will keep me warm camping this winter! Plus the fleece lining is so soft, they are comfortable just to wear around the house!
