UltraLamina™ 15 (Regular) 5 5 1 1
Passed the lightweight snow camping test Used this bag on a six day ski tour in AK. Night temps down averaged about 20. I had a very light pad (klymit X frame with small square foam pad under my feet) and slept in the MH b'layman jacket, MH compressor pants, and my boot liners and stayed plenty warm. I was in an EV2 and a Direkt2 tent with considerable wind. I was on the chilly side when the temp got down to about 10F one night, but not cold. I liked the construction and the 3/4 zip. My friend said he would never buy a sleeping bag that didn't have a full zipper, but I loved the 3/4 zip. Why fight a full length zipper and the associated heat losses? The draft collar was also money. My friends had zero degree bags and didn't seem to be any warmer, plus their bags were twice the size of mine when packed. This is my favorite mummy bag that I have ever owned. It is not as restricting as others that I have owned. I could even tuck one of my legs up so my foot was under my knee. Plenty of room. I'm 5'9" and about 165.This bag was super easy and fast to dry by either hanging or leaving in a warmer tent with ventilation. April 9, 2013
