Bomb Proof My wife and I used this tent several years ago when we were studying high alpine plants for several summers in the Wyoming mountains. We were on an 11,500 foot mountain from June to August never leaving. This tent saw a wide variety of weather conditions (rain, snow, hail, wind, intense sunlight). One particular wind storm laid it almost flat to our face with the gusts for several hours. It bounced back each time. The poles never snapped. Others in our party had their tents shredded. The internal guy system worked well. Bomb-proof. The UV radiation worked it's toll on the fly over the several summers but that was easy to replace. It is a bit on the heavy side so not the best backpack tent I have ever used. An exceptional base-camp tent however. I totally trust it to keep me dry and protected for extended periods, the only one I will use for this kind of work. November 3, 2012
