With many of our tents, you can create a functional shelter by using just the fly, the tent poles, and a Footprint (our accessory grommeted sheet that normally serves as protection for your tent’s floor). The resulting structure keeps off the rain, provides a fabric floor, and has tremendous ventilation at a fraction of the weight of the complete tent. The Pitch Light option is especially useful for fast-and-light, mild-weather trips. Some tents may require additional pole bindings at intersections and/or webbing support for struts and brow poles. These items are included in the appropriate Footprint package.

This foot print does the job, it is a foot print. A foot print made from tyvek. You know, the material used in residential construction. If you want to save money go to a construction site and grab a piece of scrap tyvek. Okay so it has a stitched edge and some grommets at the corners, woohoo. This product is noisy to work with and for me, just not up to MHW standards or mine. Cons: material used, noisy to work with, doesn't pack down nicely(to stiff) Pros: .......it's a foot print :/
I do not recommend this product.

picked this up and had heard some remarks about the new material of these footprint and there sliding. well the material is definately different(new) and is kind os slick with the tent floor. I found you have to make sure the tent straps are out far enough to take up any slack in the footprint. It is still was slick but barely noticeable once my pad, bag and garbage was loaded into my tent. Good product and a must for these expensive tents
