Men's Zonal™ Down Jacket 4.5 5 4 4
Nice jacket This jacket fits great. It is fitted so you don't look like the Michelin Man. Very light weight, but warm. December 12, 2012
Fantastic jacket I will primarily use this jacket in non-technical situations. In the week I've had it, the weather has mostly been windy/rainy and the temp between 45 and 50 (typical Seattle weather). This jacket alone has been perfect for this weather (I use a big umbrella to keep the down dry). The non-insulated panels really help prevent me from overheating and the insulated part keeps me perfectly warm, even in windy conditions. It fits perfectly (most large things fit me well off the shelf) and looks really great. My wife usually doesn't like my tech pieces all that much, but she loves the way this looks.I look forward to using it in a more technical manner, and since it's pretty light/thin, it will pair well with a lightweight shell. VERY glad I bought this jacket. December 9, 2012
Poor construction and quality control Right out of the bag the zipper did not function properly. The bottom portion of the zipper did not exist so when it was zipped the zipper just split apart at the bottom. Otherwise, the jacket seemed fine and customer service was very helpful for the exchange process. December 4, 2012
Warm and flexible I really enjoy this Zonal Jacket. I have tried the Nitrous and the Ghost Wisperer jackets and neither fit the bill. I needed a lightweight jacket for climbing that allowed the movement of my older Mountain Hardware Windstopper soft shell with the warmth of down. The fit of the Zonal is spot on for me. I am 5'11" and weight 170 lbs and bought a medium. The stretch sides and shoulders allow for movement for all activities like hiking, climbing, biking or disc golf. I find the jacket allows me to wear a thinner more breathable base layer but doesn't feel bulky when I need to put a rain proof shell over the Zonal. If you are looking for a more active down layer give the Zonal a try! October 15, 2012
