Great jacket for layering I purchased this jacket to replace a Mountain Hardwear fleece I had been using for a mid layer for skiing. After purchasing a new shell I decided to upgrade my mid layer to a synthetic down jacket. This jacket was ideal as it is thin, warm, and has the stretch fleece under the arms and on the back and elbows. This was perfect when the temperature on the mountain requires you to unzip your pit zips on your shell. The cool air flows right through the fleece and actually cools you down.Plenty of warmth in a thin jacket. On a windy cold day I would not wear this as my outer layer but as a mid layer this jacket is great. February 13, 2013

Zonal Jacket The XL fits well in the neck, chest and shoulders and the quality is excellent. The jacket lays flat, not puffy, is very light and has stretch panels for flexibility in the back and sides. Off to the Himalayas next month for some cold weather testing. September 9, 2012
