Men's Nisu™ Brim Beanie 5 5 1 1
Perfect compliment to Dome Perignon Hat I bought the Nisu Brim Beanie because in certain uses, the Dome Perignon hat did its job too well. The Dome is a very warm hat - perfect for sitting in a deer stand, ice fishing, or whenever else you might sit still in very cold weather. The Dome's contours enable you to fully cover your ears, and you don't have to roll up any edges. The front comes right to the eyebrows.Anyway, this is a review on the Brim Beanie. The Brim Beanie is perfect for cold weather when you are active - hiking, snowshoeing, snow blowing, dragging a deer, chopping wood. It is just right to keep your head and ears warm without matting down your hair (if you have any) with sweat. The brim is the perfect size for a sun visor or keeping annoying rain drops or snow flakes out of your eyes. And for those occasions when you might do a very physical activity, then being still (like hiking to a deer stand), if you have a hood on your jacket, it does a nice job in keeping as warm as the Dome hat.Or, do like I do, and just carry whichever one you're not wearing with you.Oh, by the way, the last thing I buy outdoor clothes for is style, but I was complimented by a stranger on my hat just yesterday. I do think it looks rather snappy.I highly recommend both hats. February 9, 2013
