Good tent: even for a big guy I was finally found a weekend to take my tent out this summer. I am 6'5 230lbs and found that I was able to sleep comfortably in this tent, even with my wife sleeping right beside me. We might even have room to fit our (soon to be) little guy in-between us next summer. The tent also fits well in my Osprey Atmos pack, pole separated and strapped to the outside of the pack. Good tent, I hope to find some more time to use it this coming year. October 20, 2012
Mongolian Steppe I purchased this tent for an expedition to Mongolia. The tent was pitched for roughly 30 days and withstood the test of time quite well. Roughly 5/6 days of rain at one point but the insides stayed high and dry. We were protected from wind so I can not fully commit as to its durability there but for the most part the tent is pretty stout. March 15, 2012
Perfect for us. My wife Suzy and I love this tent. We have a 70lbs. dog and a 2 year old. We often go back country to avoid the crowds. This tent is light enough to carry on a long hike and dependable enough to take Sylas our 2yr old.I can set it up aloan with no problem. The fact that it is not self standing is helpful in winds since standing it up can be the last step. Only a problem when you have a hard ground which will not take the lighter stakes. With help it can be set up in a few minutes. March 2, 2012
