Pack Rain Cover 4.3 5 5 6
Didn't keep dry long-term I bought a Medium pack cover for my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. I quickly found out that I needed a bigger size to actually fit over everything but then the big size was too big and collected water underneath. I had this pack cover for the whole trail and maybe half way through it was not keeping my pack dry anymore. I still had to wrap everything in a garbage bag inside my pack. November 19, 2011
Dry pack in torrential rain Kept my pack dry, very light and packs down really small. Not sure of long term durability, but I wouldn't recommend leaving it covered if it's going to go for a rough ride or pack with other luggage or something like that. June 20, 2011
Covered me... Took this on a three day weekend hike and got poured on. This thingy held up and kept all my stuff from getting soaked. Standard pack cover. Interesting green June 17, 2011
Mountain Hardware Pack Rain Cover I purchased this pack rain cover for my Kifaru Longhunter Standard pack. I ordered the large cover not expecting that it would fully cover the pack with my sleep mat attached at the bottom of pack. The cover fit perfectly protecting the entire pack including the mat and cinches tightly even with my pack being compressed. Also, the material is relatively quiet which is important for hunting. Although I have not used it in the rain, I did spray it down to test the material and it proved completely waterproof. Having owned a Mountain Hardware sleeping bag for a while now, I expected that the cover would be equally well made and I was not disappointed. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. April 27, 2011
A little bit big When measuring this I allowed for a bit of variance for the backpack I was trying to protect, however found this high quality rain cover to still be a bit big. I would have loved it for the initial intended use, however we will not be returning it. Nice construction and will be a valuable tool in the toolbox. April 23, 2011
